| The combination of childcare and education is the basic requirement of the early childhood education industry,and the childcare ability is the basic quality necessary for preschool teachers.However,with the rapid development of early childhood education in China and the continuous expansion of the preschool teacher team,many newly entry preschool teachers have weak awareness of childcare,insufficient knowledge of childcare and lack of practical skills to varying degrees,which not only affects the healthy growth of children but also the development of early childhood education;improving childcare skills has become a realistic and urgent need for newly entry preschool teachers.This study takes Y Kindergarten as an example,based on social learning theory,advantage perspective theory,and empowerment theory,and uses group work methods to carry out services to enhance the childcare ability of newly entry preschool teachers.The study concluded that newly entry preschool teachers had "insufficient ability to develop children’s safety awareness","insufficient ability to maintain environmental safety","insufficient ability to handle conflicts among children" and "insufficient ability to provide first aid in critical situations ".To enhance their childcare ability,it is necessary to start from learning safety awareness guidance methods,strengthening awareness of safety hazards,mastering mediation skills,and improving emergency practice;this study,by carrying out activities such as "Pay attention to dietary and electricity usage","How much do you know about hidden dangers in the area","Conflict mediator" and "I am the best at first aid",helps newly entry preschool teachers in learning childcare knowledge,mastering practical methods,enhancing their childcare abilities,and has achieved ideal results.This study also explored some of the methods and strategies of group work interventions for newly entry preschool teachers’ childcare ability.The study concluded that group work has the advantage of scale in improving the childcare ability of newly entry preschool teachers in the microsystem;role-playing and quiz competitions are effective ways to improve preschool teachers’ childcare ability;and hands-on training integrated with the workplace is an effective measure to improve their practical ability. |
