Job burnout is a state of physical and mental exhaustion caused by the fact that the individual’s work intensity,working hours and workload exceed his capacity,which affects his career development and physical and mental health.If preschool teachers have serious job burnout,it will not only affect their own health,but also affect the quality of preschool education.In this study,field observation,semi-structured interview and questionnaire survey were used to investigate the preschool teachers in A kindergarten in D city.It was found that the preschool teachers in A kindergarten generally have job burnout,such as weak work initiative,often to physical and mental exhaustion,and low sense of personal accomplishment.The reasons for their job burnout are social factors,professional factors,organizational factors and personal factors.Based on the survey results,select preschool teachers with serious burnout to form a group,and under the guidance of social support theory and cognitive behavior theory,formulate a group activity plan and carry out a series of group activities according to organizational and personal factors in the reasons;Before and after the group activities,the members of the group were measured by using the job burnout scale MBI-GS.The comparison of the measurement results shows that group work has helped preschool teachers to release some pressure,gain social support,rekindle their enthusiasm for preschool education,and partially alleviate their job burnout.In addition,suggestions on how to effectively alleviate the job burnout of preschool teachers are put forward from three dimensions: society,organization and individual.
