| Major anniversaries are China’s outstanding cultural heritage and a cultural treasure created by the people.In recent years,the Party and the State have attached more and more importance to the spiritual inspiration of major anniversaries to the people,and actively explored the deeper connotation of major anniversaries to better play their spiritual nurturing role.As university students are the front-runners in the future development of society,ideological and political education for them is a key part of the nurturing work of universities,and is crucial to the cultivation of their will,the enhancement of their knowledge and ability,and the development of their health and physical fitness.Therefore,this paper takes major anniversaries as the theme,analyzes and investigates the problems that arise when universities use major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education for college students,and uses them as the basis for exploring targeted countermeasures.In the process of investigation and writing this paper,literature research method,questionnaire survey method,theory and practice method and multidisciplinary integrated research method were chosen to carry out the research work of the paper,which consists of four parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the research background,research purpose,research significance and research method of the selected topic,and provides an overview of domestic and foreign research on major anniversaries.The second part is the theoretical analysis of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students,which mainly elaborates on major anniversaries and their related concepts;the connotation and characteristics of ideological and political education of college students;the main theoretical support of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students and the necessity of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students from five aspects,such as enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education of college students,widening the channels of ideological and political education of college students,tapping the ideological and political education resources of college students and innovating the carrier and way of ideological and political education of college students.The third part is an empirical analysis of the ideological and political education of college students using major anniversaries,which mainly explores the current situation of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students in colleges and universities,and explores the shortcomings and problems of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students through the analysis of survey data,and analyzes the causes of the problems from both school and student perspectives.According to the survey data,the problems mainly include insufficient publicity of major anniversaries at the level of "family,school and society",insufficient awareness of major anniversaries among some college students,inadequate system of ideological and political education for college students using major anniversaries,and scattered contents of ideological and political education for college students using major anniversaries;The content of ideological and political education for college students using major anniversaries is scattered,and the way of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education for college students is single.The fourth part is to explore the ways of using major commemorative days to carry out ideological and political education of college students.According to the problems analyzed in the survey,the main ways of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students are proposed.It mainly includes the following aspects: good at using various media forms to publicize major anniversaries to create a strong atmosphere for political education;actively exploring the guarantee system of using major anniversaries to carry out ideological and political education of college students;promoting the integration of educational resources of major anniversaries into college students’ ideological and political teaching activities;innovating the activity forms of major anniversaries to improve college students’ participation and sense of ritual.The ideological and political education of college students can be carried out through the above ways to enable college students to strengthen their ideals and beliefs while improving their sense of identification with the Party and the country. |
