Early childhood science education is scientific enlightenment education,focusing on stimulating children’s interest in knowledge and desire to explore.At present,the emphasis on science education activities in the five areas of kindergarten teaching has been significantly increased.However,due to the difficulty of carrying out science education activities,there are higher requirements on educational environment,facilities and equipment,and teachers’ scientific literacy.Although science education activities for children have been gradually paid attention to,the educational effect is often unsatisfactory.It is an important subject of kindergarten teaching reform to improve the effectiveness of children’s science education activities,promote the formation of children’s scientific literacy,and buckle the first button for children to love science,learn science and use science.Through the method of observation and interview,the research understands the status quo of science education activities in Class Z of Q Garden,and finds that the problems existing in effective teaching in science education activities include: the lack of children’s participation in environment creation,and the dynamic need to be improved;Activity objective design is not comprehensive;The selection of content depends on teaching materials,and the generation is weak.The types and quantities of activity materials are simple,teachers’ guidance ability is weak,and the organization form of activities is mainly collective teaching.The evaluation content is monotonous and the evaluation method is short of diversity.In order to improve the effectiveness of early childhood science education activities,this study takes action research as the main research method.In view of existing problems,two rounds of action research are conducted by formulating action research programs,implementing actions,investigating and reflecting.It is found that teachers’ awareness of self-development is the key to promote the implementation of activities,attention to children’s subjectivity and the suitability of materials is the key to improve the effectiveness of activities,the play of teachers’ guiding role is the key to improve effective teaching,scientific environment creation is the invisible promoter to improve the effectiveness of activities,kindergartens and parents can provide help for the effective teaching of science education activities.To improve the effectiveness of science education activities for children not only needs the kindergarten to pay more attention to it,but also needs the continuous exploration of preschool teachers.Kindergartens should pay more attention to and support science education activities,actively develop educational resources,take the initiative to learn from the educational experience of other kindergartens,and provide science training for in-service teachers.Preschool teachers should self-study and participate in teaching research,improve the ability of activity design through personal experience,actively build a systematic teaching system,pay attention to self-reflection and timely adjust teaching behavior,promote children’s active participation and positive thinking in each link,in order to achieve effective teaching of science education activities and promote the development of children’s scientific literacy.
