With the promulgation of the 2022 edition of the new curriculum standard for junior high school history,the core quality-oriented curriculum and teaching attract attention.How to cultivate students’ core quality,how to strengthen the connection with students’ real life,and how to use the knowledge of capital history to teach ancient Chinese history is a topic worthy of in-depth study.First of all,the capital plays an important role in the history of ancient China.It is often the political,economic and cultural center of ancient Chinese dynasties or regimes;Secondly,the knowledge of capital history plays an important role in junior high school history textbooks.It is an important part and clue of junior high school history textbooks and can enhance the readability of textbooks;Thirdly,the knowledge of capital history is closely related to the real life of junior high school students;Finally,the teaching of capital history is conducive to the development of junior high school students’ core quality of history.The paper is divided into five parts: The first chapter is the introduction,which explains the research significance,research status,research ideas and innovation points;The second chapter,based on the curriculum standards,integrates the knowledge of capital history in the seventh grade textbook "Chinese History" compiled by the Ministry of Education,according to the five aspects of the capital of the early country,the capital of the unified dynasty,the capital of the period of the coexistence of political power,the capital of the frontier national power and the capital of the accompanying capital;The third chapter analyzes the key knowledge of capital history in the textbook by combining the historical research results,analyzes the concept,types,reasons for selection and transfer,positioning and layout,economy and culture of capital,and deeply understands the teaching content;The fourth chapter,based on the situation of the students,takes "the weather of the prosperous Tang Dynasty",Lesson 3,Unit 1,Chinese History(Part 2),Grade 7,as an example to show the specific application of the knowledge of capital history in the teaching of ancient Chinese history in junior high schools.Take Chang’an City as the clue to connect the whole course,integrate the teaching content,and establish a more systematic knowledge structure of class hours;The fifth chapter summarizes the full text and points out the shortcomings of the paper.
