Abstract/Summary:
The changes in the compilation of the unified edition of high school history textbooks have put forward new requirements for the teaching of special history content.The content of urban history occupies a certain proportion in the new textbook,and is an important module of classroom teaching.The history of ancient Chinese cities covers a vast and rich content.The study of urban history in a certain period can often spy on the development status of politics,economy,culture and other aspects of this era.Historical materials are the basis for the teaching of urban history content,but in practical teaching,the use of relevant historical materials is not satisfactory.Therefore,how to effectively use historical materials is the key to the content teaching of ancient urban history,which has certain practical significance for teachers to optimize classroom teaching and implement core literacy.In view of the above reasons,the author conducts research on the application of historical materials in the teaching of ancient urban history content by means of literature research,case analysis,survey interviews and other methods.This article is divided into four parts.First,it defines the related concepts of historical materials and urban history,and analyzes the new requirements for urban history teaching in the high school curriculum standards.,and the trend of urban history investigation in the high school examination questions in the past five years,and confirm the scope and direction of the research.Secondly,by investigating and interviewing students and teachers in several high schools in Nanning,Beihai and other places on the use of historical materials in the teaching of ancient urban history content,it is concluded that the existing problems are that students’ cognition of urban history content and related historical materials is relatively vague,and teachers are not familiar with the content of urban history.Inappropriate use of historical materials in the teaching of urban history content,teachers’ difficulty in mobilizing students’ awareness of inquiry,etc.,and the corresponding analysis of the causes.Thirdly,in view of the problems in the previous article,the principles and strategies for the use of historical materials in the teaching of ancient urban history content are put forward.In terms of principles,one should follow the scientific nature to ensure the objective truth of the teaching content and the scientific and effective teaching methods;the other should follow the appropriateness,follow the guidance of the curriculum standards,and carry out the teaching of urban history content and historical materials in a timely and appropriate manner according to the framework of the textbook.;Third,it should follow the practicality,and encourage students to independently explore the physical historical materials related to urban history through practical activities.In terms of strategies,on the one hand,multidisciplinary knowledge should be linked to cultivate students’ comprehensive thinking;on the other hand,local curriculum resources should be combined to mobilize students’ awareness of inquiry;at the same time,a variety of teaching methods should be flexibly used to improve the efficiency of historical materials.Finally,taking the 11 th lesson of the unified edition "Economy and Society of the Liaosong,Xia,Jin and Yuan Dynasties" as an example,the author tries to construct corresponding lesson examples on the application of historical materials in the teaching of ancient city history,and makes a profound reflection on this.In order to combine theory and practice,to provide a concrete case for reference for the majority of front-line teachers.
