With the increasing attention of the country to art education in schools,the development of art education in rural primary schools shows a positive trend.In recent years,the state has advocated deepening balanced education,closing the educational gap between urban and rural schools,and enriching the art curriculum for rural students and related teaching equipment and facilities.In 2022,the Ministry of Education issued new standards for the compulsory education art curriculum,which have been amended to further refine the standards for the art curriculum.This paper takes the rural primary schools in Qinggang County as the research object to understand the actual implementation of the curriculum of art education in rural primary schools,and to find out and analyze some problems existing in the art education in rural primary schools,put forward the corresponding improvement suggestions,hoping to play a certain role in promoting the development of art education in primary schools in my hometown.The research methods of this paper are literature survey,Questionnaire Survey and interview,in order to understand the actual situation of art education in rural primary schools in Qinggang County more truthfully,find out the existing problems and put forward corresponding suggestions,trying to promote art education in rural Qinggang County.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is a survey of art education in rural primary schools in Qinggang County,the survey covered the importance attached to art education in rural primary schools in Qinggang County,the situation of art education in rural primary schools in Qinggang County,the situation of teaching equipment and facilities required for art education in schools,and the situation of art teachers in schools.The second part,based on the investigation of the current situation of art education in rural primary schools in Qinggang County,finds that there are some problems in the art education in this school.The main problems are insufficient awareness of the role of art education among art teachers in rural primary schools in Qinggang County,insufficient teaching resources for art education and some problems arising in the course of teaching activities,inadequate implementation of art education in schools,fewer types of art curriculum,insufficient forms and contents of art curriculum,etc..In the third part,based on the theory of balanced development of compulsory education arts,the author puts forward some improving methods according to some problems existing in art education in rural primary schools in Qinggang County.To improve the correct understanding of art education and promote the balanced development of art education.To strengthen the comprehensive quality training for art teachers in rural Qinggang County to ensure the quality of teaching.The local cultural resources and the school art education integration,strengthens the student to the hometown culture self-confidence.
