A Study On The Strategies Of Integrating Wuqinxi Into Physical Education Teaching In Bozhou Junior High School Under The Concept Of New Curriculum

Abstract/Summary:
The Curriculum Standards for Physical Education and Health in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)),which was officially promulgated by the Ministry of Education in April 2022,is a major achievement in the current stage of physical education and health curriculum reform in basic education in China.The Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)clearly states that traditional Chinese sports not only have the same value as other sports in strengthening the body,but also have an important nurturing role in developing students’ cultural confidence and national identity.Since Hua Tuo’s Wuqinxi became a national intangible cultural heritage,it has become more and more well-known,so teaching Wuqinxi at all levels and in all types of schools in Bozhou has been on the agenda.School physical education is an important place to improve the physical and mental health of junior high school students,but there are still many dilemmas in the teaching of Wuqinxi in Bozhou schools at all levels based on the new curriculum standards for their own reasons.Based on the analysis of the necessity and feasibility of incorporating Wuqinxi into physical education in Bozhou junior high schools under the concept of the new curriculum,the thesis uses literature,questionnaires,interviews,mathematical statistics and fieldwork to investigate and deeply analyse the current situation of incorporating Wuqinxi into physical education in Bozhou junior high schools under the perspective of the new curriculum standards,and to propose its countermeasures according to the local school The actual situation,and put forward its countermeasure suggestions.The study shows that:(1)on the whole,there are fewer professional martial arts teachers in schools;some teachers have an average understanding of the Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition);the vast majority of physical education teachers have some knowledge of Wuqinxi;teachers believe that offering a Wuqinxi course can enhance students’ physical fitness or even significantly enhance it;the largest proportion of teachers occasionally attend training in teaching Wuqinxi;the means of teaching in physical education classes are slightly The top two reasons for the teaching effect were poor basic skills of students and students’ lack of attention in their minds.(2)The students’ knowledge of the Wuqinxi is average,and the main way to learn about it is through the physical education classroom;the vast majority of students are willing to learn the Wuqinxi in the physical education classroom,but they do not like the monotonous organisation of the practice;the largest proportion of students choose the motivation of learning to enhance their physical health.(3)The survey found that some physical education teachers were not rigorous enough in choosing teaching materials,and secondary school physical education put the focus on secondary school physical education;the actual amount of class time in schools for the teaching of Wuqinxi is difficult to guarantee high-quality teaching of Wuqinxi;parents support the introduction of Wuqinxi into schools.In order to promote the integration of Wuqinxi into the teaching of physical education in junior high schools in Bozhou City under the new curriculum concept,the following suggestions for reference are made in response to the problems found in the research.(1)Teachers themselves should pay attention to the content and changes of the Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition);schools need to establish a compatible,scientific and effective assessment and incentive system to implement relevant policies.(2)Improve the overall quality level of physical education teachers,complete and strengthen the professional teaching team,and fully implement the improvement of teachers’ professional skills and theoretical knowledge to facilitate the teaching of Wuqinxi;increase the opportunities for physical education teachers to receive professional training and participate in academic exchanges.(3)Increase the publicity of our excellent traditional sports culture to students,so that they can attach importance to it ideologically and implement it in their actual study life,and spur them to seriously practise the technical movements of the Wuqinxi and appreciate the spirit of our excellent traditional sports culture contained in the Wuqinxi.(4)To increase the contact and communication between students’ parents and schools;to raise the importance attached by the relevant departments and school leaders to Wuqinxi,and to strengthen the overall support for the work of physical education teachers;to achieve interdisciplinary integration,to innovate the content and organisation of teaching,and to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning;to hold regular lectures on traditional physical education and culture on campus,to actively carry out Wuqinxi related cultural and sports activities,and to promote Wuqinxi at all levels and in all types of We will take a number of measures to ensure the healthy and orderly development of the teaching of Wuqinxi.
