The "double reduction" policy reflects the country attaches great importance to talent training.The implementation of this policy contributes to the development of students’ comprehensive quality,and also provides an opportunity for the transformation of junior middle school history teaching methods.Middle school history extracurricular activity class is an important part of middle school history teaching,which is of great significance to the growth and development of middle school students.However,due to the relatively short policy implementation time,policy implementation is not timely and other factors,restricting the effective development of history extracurricular activities.The article consists of introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction includes the background and significance of the topic,the research summary,the research content and method,and the innovation.There are four chapters in the text,the first chapter is an overview of history extracurricular activities in junior high school under the background of“Double-reduction”,and the second chapter is the implementation of history extracurricular activities in junior high school under the background of “ Double-reduction ”,chapter III the implementation of history extracurricular activities in junior high schools in the context of “Double reduction”,according to the teaching principles,the implementation steps and the problems needing attention,the author designs the teaching cases in the fourth chapter,and takes“The changes of hometown before and after the reform and opening-up” as the theme,so as to make the research more practical and reference value.Finally is the conclusion,makes the summary,the reflection and the forecast to the research content.With the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,students have more time to participate in history extracurricular activities,and the knowledge in class can be further consolidated in history extracurricular activities.The extracurricular activities such as visiting museums,historical sites and field investigation greatly enhance students’ interest in learning history,and cultivate students’ comprehensive literacy in "walking class".
