Under the current traditional mathematical teaching mode,the teaching of mathematical knowledge is shallow and fragmentation;High school mathematics teachers lack a highly operational mathematics teaching model,making it difficult to design teaching units in a more standardized,efficient,and holistic manner;Most high school students lack initiative in learning,as they are unable to actively think and understand the knowledge imparted by teachers,lack the ability to connect and integrate new and old knowledge,and are unable to apply the knowledge they have learned to practical situations.Deep learning is a kind of research-oriented teaching idea.It is helpful to carry out the teaching reform and promote the development of basic mathematics literacy by guiding the design of mathematics teaching unit through the theory of deep learning,can help students to better build an organic knowledge system for front-line teachers to provide concrete and feasible unit teaching process.Therefore,this study conducted a systematic analysis of the current situation of deep learning in high school mathematics based on the concept and theoretical foundation of deep learning through literature mining and practical teaching surveys.Based on the survey results,the reasons for the current situation of deep learning in high school mathematics were analyzed,mainly including: insufficient learning motivation,poor learning strategies,and weak reflective awareness of students;Teachers have weak awareness of deep teaching,unreasonable methods of deep teaching,and single evaluation of deep teaching.Proposed steps for designing mathematical unit teaching based on deep learning,The specific steps are: the first step is to analyze the teaching content as a whole and determine the unit teaching theme;The second step is to refine the elements of unit teaching and explore the core values of the unit;The third step is to focus on the unit teaching objectives and arrange the unit teaching process;The fourth step is to clarify the unit teaching structure and integrate the unit teaching content;The fifth step is to organize the unit teaching process and continuously reflect on multiple evaluations.According to the proposed teaching design steps of deep learning unit,take the unit of "exponential function and logarithmic function" as an example to carry out the unit teaching design based on deep learning,and carry out teaching practice for the unit of "exponential function and logarithmic function" according to the unit teaching design.This study shows that teaching practice through the proposed teaching steps can improve students’ deep learning level.Teachers can apply this teaching step to practical teaching,combining specific teaching content with unit teaching design steps.This study provides useful resources for teachers’ teaching,provide effective strategies for teachers to improve teaching quality.
