As one of the "five golden flowers" of historical research in the early period of the founding of New China, the peasant uprising has always attracted much attention from historians.Meanwhile, the weight and description of the peasant uprising in high school history textbooks of the same period also attracted much attention. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the content of peasant uprising written in Xinhua Bookstore Edition in 1950,People’s Education Edition in 1958,"One standard and many" textbooks(Yuelu Edition,People’s Education Edition,Beijing Normal University edition)and 2019 Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(1),exploring their writing characteristics and providing references for high school history teaching practice and compilation of history textbooks. The article consists of five parts. The introduction consists of topic selection background, research significance, research summary, research methods and related concept definition. The first chapter discusses the characteristics of the writing of the peasant uprising in the 1950 and 1958 editions of high school history textbooks. It can be seen that the writing of the 1950 textbooks about the peasant uprising is more academic. In 1958,the high school history textbook had a more complete structure, adding illustrations and exercises after class. The writing was more colloquial,story-like and readable, which was easy for students to accept, and the content lay particular emphasis on the description of the process of peasant uprising. The second chapter analyzes the writing of peasant uprising in the textbooks of "one standard and many books" in the early 21 st century, and compares the similarities and differences of content writing and structure arrangement in the textbooks of the three editions.Mainly Beijing Normal University edition layout is more clear, pay attention to Chinese and foreign relations;Yuelu edition layout is more chaotic, but strong academic; The human edition event description is more concise, the text expression is plain. The third chapter explores the main characteristics of the writing study of the peasant uprising in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(I): The writing structure of the peasant uprising in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(I)is complete, the emphasis on people’s view of history, the emphasis on the modern significance of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement and other new changes. The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions on compiling the high school history textbook peasant uprising. The compilation of textbooks should learn from the historical trends, strengthen historical materialism, absorb the advantages of the previous textbooks, and combine with the characteristics of senior high school students. In a word, the writing of the peasant uprising in high school history textbooks depends on the revision of the teaching syllabus or curriculum standards.Influenced by the changes of The Times and the mainstream view of history, different periods and versions show distinct characteristics. Therefore, the writing of the peasant uprising in high school history textbooks should further enhance its academic character.Further absorb the vivid writing style of the previous textbooks and take facts as the basis; To further strengthen the teaching of historical materialism and cultivate students’ core quality of history.
