Tao Xingzhi’s Labor Education Thought And Its Contemporary Enlightenment

Abstract/Summary:
As an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics,labor education has the comprehensive educational value of cultivating morality,increasing intelligence,strengthening sports and cultivating beauty.For a long time,the party and the country pay high attention to labor education,especially since the 18 th CPC National Congress,labor education has become the focus of attention,has been given new significance and status.In the "Guidelines for Labor Education in Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial)" issued by the Ministry of Education in 2020,it is proposed to speed up the construction of an educational system for the all-round development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,and clarify the educational path of combining labor and education;in the " compulsory education labor curriculum standard(2022 edition)," it is clear about the ten ’ task groups ’ and evaluation criteria of compulsory education labor curriculum content,and requires students to do in ’ learning by doing ’ and ’ learning by doing ’.However,from the perspective of reality,China ’s labor education is still a “ short board ” in the comprehensive development of education system,which needs to be further promoted.Tao Xingzhi was the earliest educator in the history of modern education in China who proposed the combination of labor and education,and his labor education thought was scattered in his education theory system.Although the situation is different,there are many similarities between Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education and the spiritual core of labor education in the new era,which has strong reference value.Based on the deep excavation of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education thought,this study intends to enrich the connotation of labor education in the new era,promote the development of contemporary labor education,and cultivate comprehensive talents with comprehensive development of " moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor."This paper focuses on the core content of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education thought,which is divided into four parts.Chapter I Introduction.This paper mainly introduces the research background of this topic,summarizes,sorts out and analyzes a large number of domestic researches on Tao Xingzhi ’s labor education thought and labor education,and explains the research ideas,research methods,theoretical and practical significance of this study,and combs and defines the core concepts involved in the study.The second chapter is the formation and development of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education thought.Mainly using the historical research method from the political,economic,cultural three angles,in-depth understanding of Tao Xingzhi labor education thought formation background;the use of comparative research mainly from the Chinese traditional culture of Mohist thought and Yangming theory,foreign Dewey ’ s pragmatism ’ two aspects,traces the theoretical origin of the formation of his thought;finally,according to the time line of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education practice and writing theory,it analyzes the development process of his labor education thought from germination,development to maturity.The third chapter is the main content and characteristics of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education thought.This paper systematically combs the main contents of Tao Xingzhi ’s labor education thought from four aspects of connotation,purpose,carrier and way,and puts forward that Tao Xingzhi ’s labor education thought has the characteristics of consistent life,practical combination of learning and doing,and integrity of promoting perfection by labor.Finally,the objective statement of the ideological reformism and pragmatism residue,heavy labor light theoretical tendency of historical limitations.The fourth chapter Tao Xingzhi labor education thought influence and enlightenment.Starting from the positive impact of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education thought on the educational philosophy of subsequent educators and the practice of contemporary labor education,based on the requirements of the times of labor education and the current situation of labor education,this paper puts forward the enlightenment of Tao Xingzhi ’ s labor education thought on contemporary labor education from four dimensions : in-depth interpretation of the connotation of labor education,accurate grasp of the goal of labor education,continuous enrichment of the carrier of labor education,and extensive expansion of the way of labor education.It is necessary to highlight the important position of labor education,improve the curriculum evaluation system of labor education,construct the support system of labor education,and innovate the practice mode of labor education.
