Freidenthal’s mathematical reality theory advocates that mathematics should be applied to life.The 2011 edition of the mathematics curriculum standard puts forward problem-solving ability as the general goal of the curriculum,and application questions are an important means to implement these two aspects.writing becomes more important.After reviewing relevant domestic and foreign literatures,this paper finds that there are few researches on the writing of elementary school application questions,and the comparative research on the writing of application questions in China and Singapore is even more limited,and most of the research angles are scattered and single.Therefore,this paper will adopt Comparative research method,content analysis method,and literature method are more comprehensive to compare and study the applied questions in the fourth grade textbooks of the Chinese version and the Singapore MC version from the three perspectives of content selection,content organization,and content presentation.Through comparative analysis,it is concluded that the concepts of problem setting of the two versions of the application questions are different,namely: the MC version focuses on the mathematical nature of the problem,and the PPE version focuses on the situationalization of the problem;the MC version follows the structure of knowledge,and the PPE version follows the development of students’ cognition.The two versions have different emphasis on the ability training of application questions and values,namely: the MC version emphasizes the ability to interpret and reason about problems,and the human education version emphasizes the cultivation of innovation ability and computing ability;the MC version mostly reflects the social education value of application questions,and people The teaching version mostly permeates traditional culture in the application questions;the two versions have different focus on the problem-solving organization,namely: the MC version emphasizes the analysis and reasoning of the problem,the human-education version emphasizes the comprehensive practice of the problem;the MC version emphasizes the problem-solving process,The PPE version emphasizes the results of solving problems;the content of the two versions of the problems presented is different,namely: the MC version presents the problem-solving ideas to the students,and the PPE version presents the problem-solving suggestions to the students;the MC version has detailed column settings,and the PEP version There are not many column settings;the MC version has a prominent layout,and the PTE version is more scattered.Therefore,pay attention to the following points in the use of application questions:situationalization of mathematical problems;process of mathematical problem solving;basic mathematical ability.The writing of application questions should: show the logic of problem solving in situational problems;build the interpretation and reasoning ability of mathematical problems;unify students’ cognitive psychology and logical structure of knowledge;focus on language presentation and typesetting design;Appropriate penetration of mathematical culture in sexual material.
