Research purpose: With the development and popularization of swimming, the number of children learning to swim is also increasing.Due to the specificity of the swimming teaching environment, the feedback between teachers and students is inconsistent, and children have poor proprioception in the water. Therefore, there is still room for improvement in the effectiveness of swimming teaching under traditional teaching methods.Whether the multi feedback teaching method, which combines the means of timely verbal feedback(bone conduction earphones),video feedback and proprioception feedback, can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods, enable children to get timely language feedback in learning and practice, intuitively perceive movement correctness and error through video, and enhance children’s proprioception in water, etc. To explore the application effect of the multiple feedback teaching method in swimming teaching for children aged 9-11 years, which combines the means of timely language feedback(bone conduction earphones),proprioception feedback and video feedback, and provide some theoretical, practical basis and practical guidance for children’s swimming teaching methods.Research methods: literature review, questionnaire survey, experiment, mathematical statistics. The experimental method is based on 20 swimming beginners aged 9-11 at the Yinjim Yingpai Pingjiang New City Hall in Suzhou. The intervention period is 8 weeks, with 4 class hours per week and 90 minutes per class hour. The experimental group consists of 10 students using multiple feedback teaching method, while the control group consists of 10 students using traditional teaching method. The experimental group and the control group of children are tested before and after the experiment. The research adopts the methods of literature, questionnaire, experiment, and mathematical statistics. The experimental method is based on 20 swimming beginners aged 9 to 11 years old at the Pingjiang New Town Hall in Yinjim Yingpais,Suzhou City. The intervention period is 8weeks,4 class hours/week,and 90 minutes/class hour. The experimental group 10 people use the multiple feedback teaching method, while the control group 10 people use the traditional teaching method.Through the comparative analysis of the data before and after the experimental test,it is found that the multiple feedback teaching method is effective for children’s swimming teaching. The research results are as follows:1.Compared with the control group, the experimental group showed significant improvements in breaststroke distance(p=0.02),25 meter breaststroke time(p=0.045),breaststroke technique mastery(p=0.04),and total breaststroke score(p=0.03);The experimental group showed significant improvements in crawl swimming distance(p=0.03),25 meter crawl swimming time(p=0.03),breaststroke technique mastery(p=0.03),and total crawl swimming score(p=0.02);2.The average score of the total breaststroke score in the control group and the experimental group is better than the total crawl score;3.Compared with the control group, the physical fitness of the experimental group was significantly improved in one minute rope skipping(p=0.007),sitting forward flexion(p=0.02),and standing long jump(p=0.02),while there was also a significant difference in sports interest(p=0.005).The research conclusions are as follows:1.The multiple feedback teaching method can further enhance children’s interest in swimming learning.2.The multiple feedback teaching method can improve the distance, speed, and technical mastery of breaststroke and crawl swimming;3.The learning effect of breaststroke is better than that of crawl swimming under both traditional teaching methods and multiple feedback teaching methods.4.The multiple feedback teaching method can improve students’ physical fitness in children’s swimming teaching.
