Carrying out the work of popularizing youth sports science books and building and improving the youth sports science education system is an important way to implement the strategy of strengthening the country with talents in the new era.Since 1949,the youth sports science popularization book work in the Yangtze River Delta region of China has gone through five stages of development with the development of society and the promulgation of policies.However,the overall level is still low,and the reading environment for youth sports science popularization is not optimistic.Youth sports science popularization books,as one of the main tools for sports science popularization education,bear the responsibility of enhancing the scientific literacy and improving the sports literacy of young people.Compared to literature such as sports science popularization journals,short articles,and reports,sports science popularization books are more conducive to teenagers’ systematic and comprehensive acquisition of sports knowledge and hierarchical learning.Using literature,logical analysis,scientific metrics to effectively grasp the appearance and dilemmas of youth sports popular science books,all of them can come to the ending:(1)The historical stages of youth sports science popularization books in the Yangtze River Delta region can be roughly divided into the initial development period,the development interruption period,the recovery development period,the rapid development period,and the post Olympic period.At present,under the influence of new media,the publication and reading of physical education popular science books in print have declined.(2)Since 2000,the number of sports science popularization books published by the top 100 publishing houses in the Yangtze River Delta region has grown slowly,and there has been a downward trend in 2019.The publishing houses in Shanghai are ahead of Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and other places in terms of publishing work.The workers of sports science popularization books mainly include university researchers,primary and secondary school teachers,professional athletes,etc.(3)The dilemma of sports science popularization education for teenagers: there is a lack of understanding between teenagers and parents about sports science popularization.The interdisciplinary teacher training system dominates,and the construction of the sports science popularization talent team is too single,lacking systematic training.The topic selection of sports science popularization books is repetitive,and the writing style and content are uninteresting.The evaluation system for sports science popularization is not yet perfect,and the construction of the evaluation index system mostly relies on China’s science popularization statistical survey data.The conclusions based on the research results are as follows:(1)Optimize the promotion methods of sports science populariz ation books,strengthen offline and online promotion activities of spor ts science popularization reading,and promote cooperation between sp orts book publishing units and schools,libraries,and sports venues.E stablish partnerships with sports celebrities,sports influencers,and oth ers through the "celebrity effect" to help promote sports science book s.(2)Integrate talents both on and off campus to promote commu nication and interaction among teachers in primary and secondary sch ools.Conduct graded and classified training on the strengths and wea knesses of sports science popularization educators such as university t eachers,primary and secondary school teachers,and professional athle tes,attract more social talents to join the sports science popularizatio n teacher resource pool,and promote the construction of the sports s cience popularization talent team.(3)Fully explore the depth and breadth of the content,clarify the positioning and audience of the topic.Grasp the cognitive and growth patterns of teenagers,adhere to the theory of "life cycle and behavioral stages" and the theory of "humanism",and distinguish the physical problems and sports needs of the youth group from other age groups.(4)Establish a comprehensive evaluation system for sports science popularization,and comprehensively evaluate the various elements that constitute the development of sports science popularization books.This includes developing detailed evaluation standards for the effectiveness of sports science popularization,standardizing calculations for sports science popularization personnel,venue facilities,funding investment,activity organization,etc.,and developing evaluation indicators for sports science popularization education objects. |
