Research Background: In 2020,the Ministry of Education promulgated the newly revised Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(hereinafter referred to as the new curriculum standards),which emphasizes the development of students’ core literacy and requires that the role of process evaluation be emphasized in order to promote the improvement of students’ core literacy in physical education.Research objective: In order to implement the requirements of the new curriculum standards,some high schools in Yancheng began to explore and implement the process evaluation.The research on the process evaluation of physical education and health can understand the current implementation status of some high schools in Yancheng and put forward optimization strategies for the next evaluation development.Research methods and contents: This study carried out field investigation on 5 high schools in Yancheng City,and used literature,expert interview,questionnaire and mathematical statistics.This paper explores the main body,method,content,way and organizational form of process evaluation in Yancheng city from the dimensions of significance,necessity,enthusiasm and principle compliance of evaluation.Research results: At the present stage,there are some problems in the implementation of process evaluation in Yancheng high school,such as single evaluation subject,imperfect evaluation mechanism,immature evaluation system,imperfect management department,heavy teacher burden,too simple evaluation method,not obvious implementation effect,and incomplete implementation process evaluation.We can start from the following aspects:enrich the evaluation subject,improve the evaluation system,implement the supervision and management department,increase the process of evaluation human resources,adopt a rich evaluation mechanism,etc.Conclusion:(1)Following the guidelines is the basis of the optimization of the process evaluation of high school physical education and health courses;(2)There are many problems in the implementation of process evaluation of physical education and health classes in Yancheng high school;(3)The implementation process of physical education and health process evaluation in Yancheng high school was affected by multiple factors;To optimize the process evaluation of physical education and health in Yancheng high school from three levels and four points.Research suggestions: In view of the current problems in the implementation of process evaluation in high schools,corresponding suggestions are put forward:(1)improve the subjectivity of middle school students in process evaluation;(2)Improve the benefit mechanism of process evaluation;(3)Improve the assessment form and evaluation standard of procedural evaluation;(4)Strengthen the management system of process evaluation.It is hoped that this project can provide some feasible plans and optimization countermeasures for the process evaluation of physical education and health in Nanjing high school,and contribute some shallow opinions to the development of physical education and health discipline.
