Xi Jinping’s Thought On Rule Of Law Deep Integration Of Ideological And Political Courses In Colleges And Universities

In November 2020,for the first time in the history of the Communist Party of China,the Central Work Conference on Comprehensively governing the country by Law identified Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law as the guiding ideology of comprehensively governing the country by law.It was also the first time Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law was proposed.Subsequently,the Ministry of Education proposed to integrate Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law into school education in the Eighth Five-Year Plan(2021-2025)for the Publicity and Education of Rule of Law in the National Education System,which provided a new opportunity for Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law to deeply integrate into the study of ideological and political theory courses in universities(hereinafter referred to as "Ideological and political courses in Universities").Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law is the latest achievement of the socialist rule of law theory with Chinese characteristics,and an indispensable part of Xi Jinping’s thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.The ideological and political courses in colleges and universities are the key courses to carry out the task of cultivating morality and cultivating people in colleges and universities and to improve the comprehensive quality of college students.The ideological and political courses of deep melting colleges and universities must be well done and practical.Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law is a scientific thought system,its main content is "Eleven insistence".The deep integration of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is of great significance: it is the strategic requirement to achieve the goal of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,it is the urgent need to implement the fundamental task of moral education and cultivating people in colleges and universities,it is the practical demand to practice the socialist core values,and it is the internal requirement to build a socialist country,government and society under the rule of law.At present,Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law has been integrated into the ideological and political courses of colleges and universities.Although the improvement of the theoretical level of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law among college students and the incorporation of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law education into the teaching system of ideological and political courses of colleges and universities have been achieved,However,there are still shortcomings such as insufficient awareness of active deep integration of ideological and political course teachers and insufficient exploration of educational resources,relatively weak cognition of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law among college students and poor conversion of knowledge and practice ability,and incomplete formation of the campus environment of deep integration of colleges and universities.The deficiency of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deeply integrated ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is caused by the lack of substantive attention to Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deeply integrated ideological and political courses,the lack of due training for ideological and political courses teachers,the lack of legal literacy and advanced teaching concepts,the lack of content mining and method innovation in ideological and political courses,and the impact of negative traditional culture and bad social trends of thought in the environment.To realize Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deep integration of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,we should do the following: first,by improving the status of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deep integration of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities and strengthening the condition guarantee of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deep integration of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,we should strengthen the strength of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deep integration of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.Second,by improving the rule of law literacy of ideological and political course teachers,optimizing the teaching concept and improving the teaching ability,we can improve the relevant literacy of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deep integration college ideological and political course teachers;Thirdly,through in-depth exploration of educational content,transformation of teaching discourse expression,extension of teaching practice field and application of various education and teaching methods,the content and methods of Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deep integration of college ideological and political courses are integrated.Fourth,by building campus physical environment,building campus network platform and forming educational joint force,we can create a good environment for Xi Jinping’s thought on rule of law deeply integrating ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.
