Biology is a natural science based on experiments.Experiment plays an irreplaceable role in biology. It is not only an important component of high school biology curriculum content, but also an important way of biology teaching. With the continuous promotion of the new curriculum reform, the value of experimental teaching has become increasingly prominent.General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition and 2020Revision)clearly points out that "experimental teaching is an important support for students to achieve the core quality of biology." The smooth development of biological experimental teaching should be based on extensive and high-quality experimental curriculum resources. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the development and utilization of experimental curriculum resources in high school biology teaching. This study adopted the methods of literature research, investigation, observation, empirical research and other educational research methods.Firstly, through the literature research method, this paper combed the relevant research status of curriculum resources, biological experiment curriculum resources, and understood the relevant research trends and achievements in the development and utilization of existing biological experiment curriculum resources. The study found that the domestic research on biology curriculum resources is relatively limited, and the research on the development of biology experiment curriculum resources is less.Secondly, the current situation of the development and utilization of experimental curriculum resources in high school biology teaching was investigated by questionnaire and interview methods.Based on the investigation and literature research, the author put forward the principles for the development of biological experimental curriculum resources in high school: scientific principle, open principle, purposeful principle, applicability principle, simplicity principle and safety principle. The strategies for developing experimental curriculum resources were put forward accordingly: Mining existing experimental curriculum resources and increasing the development depth of experimental curriculum resources; The resources inside and outside the school should be coordinated to broaden the development scope of experimental curriculum resources; The combination of information technology and biological experiments will enrich the form of experimental curriculum resources;Adapt to all students and individual students, and reflect the pertinence of the development of experimental curriculum resources;Strengthen the importance of experimental teaching and realize the diversification of subjects in the development of experimental curriculum resources;Improve the evaluation mechanism of experimental teaching and mobilize the enthusiasm of the development of experimental curriculum resources. Finally, combine the strategies for developing experimental curriculum resources with specific teaching contents, the author designed teaching cases for biological classroom teaching,on campus practice and off campus research learning, and carried out teaching practice with students from practice schools as subjects. The teaching effect was tested by pre and post questionnaires and student interviews,The practice results showed that the application of the strategies for the development of experimental curriculum resources has a certain role in improving students’ learning interest, knowledge acquisition, learning attitude, exploration ability, innovation awareness, etc.,thus verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the strategies for the development and utilization of biological experimental curriculum resources.
