Objective of the study: To evaluate the effectiveness of the application of micro-video-assisted teaching of badminton skills. To find out whether micro-video-assisted teaching is more effective in educating students by comparing the differences between micro-video teaching and traditional teaching methods in terms of students’ skill mastery, motivation and learning outcomes. It also lies in exploring the pedagogy of micro-video-assisted teaching of badminton skills. The experimental study will provide insight into how micro-video is used in technical teaching and teaching strategies, and explore how to maximise the use of micro-video to help students learn and improve their skills.Micro-video-assisted badminton technique teaching is one of the applications of educational technology.Promote the application and development of educational technology in badminton teaching and learning.By studying the effectiveness of micro-video teaching,it can not only provide reference and guidance for badminton education and promote the wide application of educational technology in badminton teaching practice, but also provide personalised learning support for students. This study therefore explores the effects of micro-video teaching to provide a theoretical and practical basis for personalised learning in badminton technique teaching.Research method: This study explores the effectiveness of micro-video in badminton technique teaching through literature, mathematical and statistical methods, expert interviews and teaching experiments. The differences in skill learning and performance between micro-video-assisted teaching and traditional face-to-face teaching were analysed through experimental comparisons to assess the impact of micro-video teaching on students’ skill mastery and learning experience.Twenty students from the first year of the first experimental school in Sihong County were selected as the experimental subjects and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group, with the experimental group using the micro-video-assisted teaching format and the control group using the traditional teaching format. The course lasted for 12 weeks, with 3 lessons per week for a total of 36 hours. At the end of the course a pre-and post-test of badminton skills was administered to the two groups of students respectively. Results: 1.By comparing the technical performance of the experimental group and the control group in forehand serve high, forehand stroke high and forehand pick, the test result of the forehand serve high was compared P 0.029,the test result of the forehand stroke high was compared P 0.01 and the test result of the forehand pick was compared P 0.037,according to the P value(P < 0.05)the performance of the experimental group in these aspects was significantly better than the control group in these areas. This indicates that the experimental group achieved better technical performance in forehand serve high, forehand stroke high and forehand pick after receiving micro-video-assisted badminton technique teaching.2.By comparing the before and after test results of the experimental group, the P for the comparison of the test results of forehand serve high and forehand stroke high was0.01,and the P for the comparison of the test results of forehand stroke high was 0.003,according to the P value(P < 0.05)after the experiment The technical performance of the experimental group was significantly better than that before the experiment in forehand serve and forehand stroke. After the experimental group received micro-video-assisted badminton technique instruction, they showed significant improvement in their forehand serve high and forehand stroke high. These results provide strong evidence to support the effectiveness of micro-video-assisted badminton technique instruction in improving forehand serve and forehand stroke. The study concluded that:1.By applying micro-video to the teaching of badminton skills, students use micro-video to help them better master various technical movements of badminton and the micro-video-assisted teaching method is in line with the requirements of our education policy.2.In the process of teaching badminton skills, the use of micro-video-assisted teaching is more conducive to improving the test scores of forehand serve high, forehand stroke high and forehand pick compared to traditional teaching, but it does not have much effect on the scores of forehand hang and backhand pick.3.The use of micro-video-assisted teaching method in badminton technique teaching is more effective than traditional badminton technique teaching, and has a facilitating effect on the improvement of students’ special badminton technique level.
