| Objective:Based on unmarked motion capture and artificial intelligence data processing system, this study conducts motion analysis and diagnosis on the technical movements of fencers of different levels and different types of swords,to explore the kinematics differences of technical movements of fencers of different levels and different types of swords, provide theoretical reference for the technical improvement of ordinary fencers, and lay the foundation for the application of unmarked motion capture and artificial intelligence data processing system in fencing. Methods:Thirty six fencers from the fencing team of Nanjing Sport University were selected to complete four movements, namely, the actual posture, the forward step, the target in situ and the lunge. The kinematics data were captured by synchronized AI high-speed cameras, and the kinematics data were annotated, modeled and calculated through AI analysis software.Statistical analysis of the data was conducted using independent sample t-tests and one-way analysis of variance.Results:(1)In the forward step, athletes of first level and above significantly exceeded those of second level and below in terms of peak ankle joint angle, angular velocity, peak center of gravity horizontal velocity, and peak knee joint angular velocity of the front leg;In the comparison between different types of swords, the peak knee joint angular velocity of fencers was significantly higher than that of epee, and the peak center of gravity horizontal velocity of fencers was significantly higher than that of epee and foil. There was no significant difference in other indicators.(2)In actual combat posture movements, the peak knee joint angular velocity index of the front leg is significantly higher for athletes of first level and above than for athletes of second level and below; There was no significant difference in kinematics indexes among different sword athletes.(3)In lunge thrusting, athletes of first class and above are significantly greater than those of second class and below in terms of the index of peak knee flexion Angle, peak angular velocity of knee joint, peak angular velocity of ankle joint, peak angular velocity of ankle joint, peak horizontal speed of center of gravity, and peak angular velocity of shoulder joint on the sword side. However,in terms of peak knee flexion Angle of hind leg, athletes of first class and above are significantly greater than those of second class and below. The level 2 and below athletes are significantly greater than Level 1 and above; In the comparison among different sword species, the peak angular velocity of the foreleg knee joint, the peak angular velocity of the center of gravity level, the peak Angle of the shoulder joint and the peak angular velocity of the wrist joint of the sword-holding side are significantly greater than those of foil and saber;the peak Angle of the foreleg hip joint of the epee athlete is significantly greater than that of saber;the peak angular velocity of the foreleg hip joint of the epee athlete is significantly greater than that of foil. The peak angular velocity of the foreankle joint of saber is significantly higher than that of epee, and the peak angular velocity of the hind leg knee joint of foil athlete is significantly higher than that of epee and saber, but there is no significant difference in other indicators.(4)There was no significant difference in the kinematic indexes of athletes at different levels in the movement of in-place target stabbing. In comparison among different swordsmen, the peak angular velocity of wrist joint of saber was significantly higher than that of foil, but there was no significant difference in other indexes.Conclusions:(1)The peak angular velocity of knee joint is an important index that should be paid attention to by fencers of different levels and types of swords during basic movement training. The level difference between fencers and types of swords can be verified by this index.(2)Among the three joints of the upper limb holding the sword side, the kinematic differences of the basic training movements of athletes at different levels and different sword types were mainly evaluated through the shoulder joints and wrist joints.(3)The forward step and lunge are different among athletes of different levels and swords. The explosive power and extension of upper and lower limbs of advanced athletes were higher than those of intermediate and low level athletes when they completed the forward step and lunge. In the comparison of different sword styles, the epee lunge jab is faster than foil and saber, while the saber forward lunge is the fastest among the three sword styles. |
