’Anxiety and emotional problems in young children ’ mainly refers to the children ’s external behavior caused by inner contradictions, such as crying, silence, sitting, withdrawal and excessive worry, rather than children with anxiety disorders.Game therapy in this study refers to providing psychological assistance to children through game activities, alleviating anxiety, analyzing and summarizing game works by designing and implementing game programs,so as to achieve the purpose of venting emotions, releasing pressure and improving behavior,so that children can feel love and acceptance, establish a sense of security and trust, and promote the harmonious development of children ’s body and mind.In previous studies, the application of game therapy was mostly aimed at special children or primary and secondary school children, and less involved 3-6 years old children.Game is the key to open children ’s inner world.Game therapy has unique value in relieving children ’s anxiety, releasing children ’s stress and training children ’s language expression. However, game therapy as a case intervention in children ’s anxiety is less. Most of them are aimed at preschool children ’s problem behaviors, such as aggressive behavior and destructive behavior.Based on the above situation, this study takes game therapy as the entry point to intervene children ’s anxiety, further enriches the theory of children ’s anxiety intervention, and also provides practical basis for game therapy case studies. In this study,a variety of methods were used to screen individual children.Firstly, five middle-class children were selected by teacher nomination and teacher evaluation.Five middle-class children with the highest scores were selected by peer nomination.Three children who overlapped the above two methods were selected as the target children. The ’Spence Child Anxiety Scale ’(revised version)questionnaire was distributed to three children for measurement, and the one with the highest score was selected to determine the intervention object.Secondly, the observation method is used to record the benchmark behavior of the case children, and the causes of the case children ’s consideration of emotions are analyzed in combination with parent interviews. The game therapy program is designed and the model of exploring the game therapy intervention for children ’s anxiety is implemented. Finally, the results of the intervention were investigated by observing and comparing the behavior changes before and after the case, the scale evaluation, the teacher interview and the follow-up service. The following research conclusions were drawn in this study:(1)the process of game therapy can find the hidden problems of children ’s hearts;(2)The key to play therapy is to establish a relationship between the case and the surrounding environment.(3)The choice of game activities should have the characteristics of treatment;(4)Preschool education workers play a unique role in alleviating the anxiety of the case. Finally, this study reflects on the case intervention process and looks forward to the shortcomings and future prospects in this study.
