| In July 2021,the enactment of the “double reduction” policy attracted the attention of all sectors of the society to the education industry,especially to the physical and mental health of students.The self-efficacy is a good predictor of students’ mental health which includes confidence,doubt,effort,and adjustment and also a good predictor of academic performance.As one of the main disciplines of basic education,mathematics particularly troubled students’ learning,Therefore,this paper studies the self-efficacy of junior middle school students in mathematics learning.Based on the theories of “burden reduction”,“self-efficacy”,“self-efficacy in mathematics learning” and other related ones,this research designed a questionnaire with good discrimination,reliability and validity,and conducted a survey on 515 students in key middle schools and ordinary middle schools in Hefei.With the help of interviews,24 students were investigated in depth,and SPSS27.0 was used to conduct descriptive statistics,Pearson correlation analysis,independent sample T test,etc.on the survey results.Based on the background of “Double Reduction”,this paper has an understanding of the current situation of junior middle school students’ self-efficacy in mathematics learning,explores the influencing factors,and proposes the training plan.Finally,in combination with the actual situation of junior middle school students,it designs the Pre-test Paper and Post-test Paper of Mathematics Cognitive Performance,and conducts experimental research on junior middle school students.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Junior middle school students’ mathematics learning self-efficacy is generally in the upper middle level,with the highest in the sense of self doubt dimension and the lowest in the sense of self-regulation dimension;(2)The students’ sense of efficacy in key middle schools is higher than that in ordinary middle schools.The second grade students have the highest sense of efficacy,while the third grade students have the lowest sense of efficacy.Boys have a stronger sense of efficacy than girls.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between mathematics learning self-efficacy and mathematics achievement of junior middle school students.(4)Factors that affect the self-efficacy of junior high school students in mathematics learning are as follows: success or failure experience and substitution experience in mathematics learning,students’ interest in learning,learning strategies and attribution methods,teaching methods,classroom atmosphere,parents’ educational style,family atmosphere,etc.(5)After the experiment,the students’ self-efficacy and math scores were significantly improved.Based on the research above,the following training suggestions are proposed:(1)On the aspect of students they should cultivate interest in learning,master learning strategies,define learning objectives and make correct attribution.(2)As for teachers they should create successful experience,set an example,clarify teaching objectives,create a good atmosphere,optimize homework design,focus on completion quality,improve evaluation methods,and attach importance to reflection and summary.(3)Parents should provide a good environment,encourage children and respect them. |
