The course of ideological and political theory in colleges and universities(hereinafter referred to as ideological and political course)is the main channel and main position of ideological and political education for college students.It is of great significance to guide college students to form a correct world outlook,outlook on life,values and so on.At present,under the great attention of the party and the state,the construction of ideological and political course has achieved remarkable results,but compared with the development requirements of the new period and the expected goal of ideological and political education and teaching,there is still a certain gap.Therefore,how to further improve the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities has become an important topic that the majority of ideological and political educators,especially ideological and political teachers,continue to explore.College students’ "effective acceptance" of ideological and political teaching is not only the key link of ideological and political teaching,but also an important basis to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities.The reception theory highly affirms the important position and active role of the receptive subject,and provides a new perspective for strengthening college students’ acceptance of ideological and political teaching.In view of this,this study uses the reception theory for reference,under the guidance of Marxist human theory and the acceptance theory of ideological and political education,and uses the methods of questionnaire and interview to investigate the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities.The content of the survey is mainly carried out from four aspects: ideological cognition,emotional identity,will quality and behavior practice of college students.The survey found that a small number of college students have some problems,such as lack of thorough grasp of theoretical knowledge,lack of initiative in seeking knowledge,lack of sense of mission and spirit of responsibility,weak ability to combine theory with practice,and so on.Based on this,the author deeply explores the main factors that affect the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities from five aspects: receptive subject,imparting subject,teaching content and method,teaching evaluation and receptive environment.Finally,by drawing lessons from the core viewpoints of reception theory,such as "receiver center","vision of expectation","summoning structure","reader participation" and "second text",this paper puts forward some strategies to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities from the following five aspects: attaching importance to students’ subjective status,giving full play to the leading role of ideological and political teachers,innovating ideological and political teaching methods,perfecting teaching evaluation mechanism and optimizing acceptance environment.As the saying goes,stones from other mountains can be used to attack jade.This paper uses reception theory as a reference to provide a new perspective for solving the predicament of acceptance of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.By digging deep into the theory,investigating the current situation,finding the reasons and putting forward strategies,I hope to make a modest contribution to strengthening the construction of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.
