In July 2022,the Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Highly Skilled Personnel in the New Era proposed that vocational skills competitions should be extensively and deeply carried out to improve the vocational skills competition system.With the development of vocational education as the core,the role and influence of vocational skills competition are gradually expanding.The resources of vocational skills competition are transformed into teaching resources,which greatly promotes the improvement of the quality of education and teaching.Based on this,this paper,through the application of "Promoting Learning by Competition" in the practical training course of "Online Store Operation" of e-commerce major in secondary vocational schools,combines vocational skills competition with course teaching,puts forward the implementation of "Promoting Learning by Competition" teaching design,and tests the value and role of "Promoting Learning by Competition" in teaching according to the practical effect,promotes the resource advantages of vocational skills competition and drives the development of vocational education and teaching.This paper uses literature research method,questionnaire method,interview method,action research method to carry out research.Through reading literature research and analysis of the "competition to promote learning" related research results,the use of classroom observation and questionnaire survey is to understand the current situation of vocational training course teaching.According to students’ learning conditions,combining with the content and requirements of professional skills competition,this paper comes up with the application of "Promoting Learning by Competition" teaching design in the practical training course of "Online Store Operation" in secondary vocational schools,and takes competition module project 3(online shop customer service)and competition module project 5(drill exhibition promotion)as cases to demonstrate practical teaching design.After the practical teaching,the teachers and students were interviewed and the questionnaire survey was conducted.According to the feedback of questionnaire data and interview results,the training course of "Online Store Operation" in secondary vocational schools has good teaching effect under the teaching mode of "promoting learning by competition","Promoting learning by competition" can actively promote students’ learning,help students to improve their professional ability,cultivate professional quality,clarify career planning objectives and enhance their confidence in employment.
