| Ethnic culture is the root of a nation’s development, and in China, ethnic minorities have a long history and profound cultural heritage. In recent years, the state has attached great importance to the development of traditional ethnic sports, and has protected and inherited the traditional sports culture of ethnic areas with laws as guarantee and policies as support. The Malutumba Geisha of Changshun County was officially included in the provincial intangible cultural heritage project in 2012,and its face-making process was recorded in the list of the fifth batch of state-level intangible cultural heritage representative projects of Qiannan Prefecture in 2022,which,as an outstanding representative of the excellent traditional culture of Changshun County, has made great contributions to strengthening the cohesion of the country, enhancing the national pride of the country and promoting the harmonious development of the country. However, with the development of the times, many problems have arisen in the protection and inheritance of Malutunbao opera, causing an imbalance in its cultural ecological pattern.Against this background, this paper applies the cultural ecology research theory and tries to establish a cultural ecological system for the preservation and inheritance of Malutunbao’s local opera, and takes cultural identity as the basis for its values, using various research methods such as the documentary method, field survey method, oral history research method, interview method, and logical analysis method to understand and study Malutunbao in all aspects.According to the theory of cultural ecology, culture and environment are two-way,the environment has a direct influence on the generation, evolution and development of culture, and at the same time, culture also has a counter-effect on the environment, and the two complement each other. This paper fully combines the characteristics of Malutumba Geisha with cultural ecology, and explores the relationship between the cultural connotation of Malutumba Geisha and its environment based on the theory of cultural ecology, and analyzes the cultural ecology of protection and inheritance of Malutumba Geisha from two levels: natural environment and social environment. This also explores the dilemmas that exist in the actual protection and inheritance of Malutumba geisha, which are mainly divided into the following five points:(i)the cultural ecological environment is good, and there is a shortage of funds for geisha activities;(ii)the protection mechanism is not perfect, and there is a break in the cultural inheritance system;(iii)the protection and inheritance of Malutumba geisha lacks a complete and scientific theory;(iv)the means and methods of dissemination are relatively single, and lack of heritage effect on folk culture;(v)backward management system and weak sense of responsibility. In order to solve the above problems, from the actual situation of Malutunbao Geisha in Changshun County, corresponding protection and inheritance strategies are formulated respectively to ensure its high-quality inheritance and development(i)increase policy support and financial investment;(ii)enhance the awareness of national culture protection;(iii)strengthen theoretical system research;(iv)broaden and deepen publicity channels and strengthen propaganda;(v)strengthen the sense of responsibility and promote sustainable development strategy of integrated management;(vi)organically combine geodrama and school sports with the goal of developing hobbies and interests. |
