General Secretary Xi pointed out in the report of the 20 th Party Congress: "The root of educating people lies in establishing morality.Comprehensively implement the Party’s education policy,implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education,and cultivate socialist builders and successors who are well-rounded in moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetic development." This shows that the integration of aesthetic education into the teaching of high school ideology and politics is in line with the needs of the times and plays an important role in establishing morality and educating people.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen education guidance comprehensively,insist on educating people with beauty,educating people with morality and promoting morality with beauty,improve students’ aesthetic quality and ideological quality,and train them to become the successors of the new era with comprehensive development.In order to make aesthetic education more effectively integrated into high school ideological and political teaching,we will further explore the value played by aesthetic education integrated into ideological and political teaching,analyze the problems and causes in the teaching process,and finally land on the analysis of the application path of aesthetic education integrated into high school ideological and political education.This is of great significance in promoting innovation in teaching high school ideology and politics and in promoting the overall development of high school students.Specifically,this paper will frame the following four parts to carry out this research.In the first part,a theoretical overview is given to provide a theoretical basis for this study,focusing on what is "beauty" and the connotation of aesthetic education,which further elaborates the theoretical basis for the integration of aesthetic education into high school ideological and political teaching,and paves the way for the following study.In the second part,the relationship between aesthetic education and high school ideological and political teaching and its integration value are studied.Firstly,the relationship between aesthetic education and high school ideological and political teaching is further clarified through three aspects: teaching content,educational objectives and teaching functions,and secondly,the value of integrating aesthetic education into teaching to cultivate students’ aesthetic health,teachers’ aesthetic sentiment and help to achieve curriculum goals is further discussed.In the third part,we return to the aesthetic reality,investigate and study the current situation of integrating aesthetic education into ideological and political teaching,and analyze the problems of teaching content emphasizing knowledge over aesthetic education,teaching methods emphasizing indoctrination over activities,teaching evaluation emphasizing achievement over literacy,and teaching effects emphasizing form over effectiveness in the process of integrating teaching.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the reasons for the problems of integrating aesthetic education into the teaching of high school ideology and politics from three aspects: the degree of attention,the degree of utilization and theory and practice.In the fourth part,based on the problems found in the survey and the developmental characteristics of high school students and the specific teaching practice,we propose targeted solutions in terms of teachers,teaching contents and means,and evaluation methods respectively.In order to help students improve their comprehensive quality,enhance the vitality of high school ideological and political education,and promote the effectiveness of aesthetic education in the integration of high school ideological and political education.
