Research On Primary School Homework Management Under The Background Of “Five-Item Management”

In 2021,the National Conference on Education proposed that primary and secondary school students’ homework,sleep,mobile phones,reading materials,and physical fitness management(hereinafter referred to as the "five management").Homework is an important part of "five management".What is the school doing about homework management? Has the "five Management" policy been effectively implemented? These questions need to be answered by research.This study took School A as a case,conducted a questionnaire survey on 169 teachers in the school,and interviewed 12 school administrators,teachers and parents of students.The survey found that since the "five management" policy was put forward,A school has introduced a series of measures in homework management,such as: one day a week is set as "no homework day" to reduce the homework burden of students;The homework is reviewed at all levels and arranged by the group leader of the grade.Regular inspection and random inspection combined to supervise the assignment and correction of work;Some subjects carry out homework selection and excellent homework display.The operation management of School A has both effectiveness and shortcomings,mainly manifested as: the total amount of operation has been controlled,but the policy goal has not been reached;Grade management is beneficial to fairness,but difficult to take into account the differences of students;The "minimum guarantee" is basically achieved,but the "promotion" is not effective.The reason for this situation is that,firstly,the understanding of homework management is not in place,secondly,the management of all aspects of the homework process is not balanced,and thirdly,the support and help provided by the school for teachers are insufficient.In view of this,the writer comes up with relevant improvement suggestions and countermeasures: first of all,school administrators,teaching and research teams,teachers,parents should strengthen the understanding of the policy,deepen the cognition,to lay a conceptual foundation for homework management;Secondly,it is necessary to improve the operation design and feedback,make up for the shortcomings,and promote the coordination of all links of the operation;Thirdly,work standards should be formulated,special research should be carried out,and homework database should be established to provide practical and effective professional support for teachers.
