| Social work is playing an important role in the country’s innovative social governance system,and its ranks are growing.However,as a work to serve social vulnerable groups,it has high requirements on the professional quality of practitioners.If practitioners only participate in social work services for their own interests,the service quality will be greatly reduced,and the recognition of social work by the society and even the country will be affected.Therefore,this study attempts to analyze the motivation of social work practitioners to participate in social work services under the framework of social value orientation theory,and explore the relationship between motivation and career choice and other possible influencing factors.The data of this study were obtained by submitting the data Use Agreement and Applicant Information Form of 2019 China Social Work Dynamics Survey online to the Project team of China Social Work Dynamics Survey.The main use of statistical analysis research method to establish the Ologistic regression model,research and analysis of the basic situation of social work practitioners in Jiangsu Province,employment motivation,career choice,to understand their career and value choice,analysis of the current social work practitioners in Jiangsu province under different career motivation of career choice factors.The results of national data were used for validation analysis.The results show that :(1)marital status,salary satisfaction,job support,job burnout,first job after graduation and job emotion have significant influence on career choice of social workers;(2)The career choice of social workers in Jiangsu province was significantly affected by their public welfare orientation.The higher their public welfare orientation was,the less likely they were to quit their jobs.(3)Interest orientation has no effect on career choice.Further analysis shows that salary satisfaction plays a moderating role between interest orientation and career choice.Among those who are satisfied with their salary,those with higher interest orientation are more likely to quit their job;among those who are dissatisfied,interest orientation does not affect their resignation choice.The conclusion is that the career choice of social workers in Jiangsu province tends to be public-interest driven,and is also influenced by interest drive,which plays a role through the moderating variable of salary satisfaction. |
