The Relationship Between Achievement Goal Orientation And College Students’ Employment Anxiety: The Mediating Role Of Career Choice Self-efficacy And The Moderating Role Of Social Support

In the last few years,with the growth rate of enrollment scale,it has grown year by year,the number of college graduates has surged,and the competition for employment has become increasingly fierce.College students are faced with serious employment pressure and employment anxiety caused by stressful situations.Previous research results show that achievement goal orientation is an important factor affecting anxiety,career self-efficacy and social support both affect college students’ employment anxiety.This study is based on the existing research results,the college students’ achievement goal orientation as independent variables,intervening variable is choosing a career self-efficacy,the dependent variable is job anxiety,deeply discusses the achievement goal orientation of college students,career self-efficacy,social support and job anxiety,the relationship between the four help college students anxiety,slow employment so that they can better employment.This research adopts the achievement goal orientation scale,social support rating scale,college students’ career self-efficacy scale and employment anxiety scale of Shenyang,Changchun,Jilin and other regions of 692 college students has carried on the investigation and study,achievement goal orientation on the influence of the contemporary university students’ employment anxiety,as well as the career self-efficacy and social support play a role,SPSS24.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the questionnaire data,and the hypotheses proposed were tested,which were verified.The results are as follows:（1）Achievement goal orientation has a significant negative impact on employment anxiety.（2）Achievement goal orientation has a significant positive effect on career choice self-efficacy.（3）Career choice self-efficacy has a significant negative impact on employment anxiety.（4）Career choice self-efficacy plays a partially mediating role in the relationship between achievement goal orientation and employment anxiety.（5）Social support moderates the relationship between career choice self-efficacy and employment anxiety.To some extent,this study has enriched the research on the influence mechanism of achievement goal orientation on college students’ employment anxiety.What are the results of the study for how to improve.
