China’s fundamental education curriculum reform is now on the new way.The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" first proposed learning task groups in the compulsory education stage,requiring the changes in teaching content and learning methods.The form of thematic teaching meets the requirements of curriculum reform and practical exploration,taking the advantages of "learning by doing" and cooperative learning in the pedagogical aspect;In the aspect of literature and art,the method of intertextuality helps to integrate learning materials and deeply understand texts;In the psychological aspect,thematic teaching follows the cognitive development characteristics of middle school students,and is beneficial to students’ active learning.Due to the complexity of the text of Lu Xun’s works,there are difficulties in interpretation and teaching,and the scattered distribution of selected passages in the textbooks restricts the overall teaching effect.The use of thematic teaching methods can integrate teaching resources of Lu Xun’s works,carry out systematic teaching inside and outside class,and improve the teaching quality of Lu Xun’s works in junior high schools.By analyzing the teaching value and selection of Lu Xun’s works in the textbooks and accumulating experiences in thematic teaching,thematic teaching can be divided into three stages in practice The first stage is used for self-reading perception and intensive reading in class.The second stage connects the first and third stages and is used for integrating thematic resources and readings.The third stage focuses on task solving and writing,and the teacher can develop two types of them: "task context based reading experiential theme" and "speculative reading and writing based research them".Through thematic learning,students can understand Lu Xun’s works in situational tasks and problem exploration,and improve their core Chinese literacy.
