While endowing students with independent choice,the implementation of the new college entrance examination reform also highlights the importance of career development guidance.However,the career development guidance in the general sense implemented by senior high schools at present presents the problem that the guidance seems to be rich in activities but lacks a main line of design,which leads to the problem that the guidance is too scattered and cannot help students to think about their career in combination with the current subject learning.In this context,no matter the system development of career development guidance itself,or the demand of senior high school students for career thinking,the importance of career development guidance that integrates subject learning with career development thinking has become increasingly prominent.In order to further promote the development of subject-based career development guidance,encourage more subject teachers to participate in providing students with career development guidance based on the senior high school subject,this study comprehensively adopts a variety of research methods,such as literature method,interview survey method,questionnaire survey method,and selecting D City as the research site.Specifically,field research was conducted in 5 ordinary high schools in D City,and 965 valid questionnaires were distributed and collected throughout the city.On the basis of understanding the practice pattern of subject-based career development guidance,study focuses on the following questions: First,what is the rationality,realistic demand and feasibility of subject-based career development guidance? Second,what is the current status of subject-based career development guidance in D City? What are the active explorations? And what are the problems?Third,what are causing the problems? Fourthly,how to improve the problems existing in the subject-based career development guidance?The study found that,due to the need of students’ exploring on career development brought by the new college entrance examination reform,subject-based career development guidance is widely available in senior high schools in D City,and generated a certain positive exploration experience.Through combing and analyzing the existing practice,research found that: In the aspect of cognition,the narrow understanding of the subject-based career development guidance and the cognition divergence between different subjects of education hinder the full play of its value;In terms of the implementation process of guidance,there are some problems,such as the limited content of guidance,the mutual separation of approaches and the lack of systematic evaluation.In terms of support and safeguard measures,there are some problems,such as lack of relevant training opportunities for subject teachers and the guidance atmosphere of subject-based career development is still to be formed.The analysis of practice shows that there are still some problems to be solved in the implementation of subject-based career development guidance.The reasons mainly include the following aspects: At the teacher level,teachers in senior high school are overshadowed by the value brought by the score priority in the process of guidance,and the lack of knowledge and ability of career development guidance leads to "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak",which often leads to the alienation of guidance;At the school level,the differences in school characteristics cause the absence of career development guidance in some schools,and the lack and weakening of relevant system of career development guidance lead to many difficulties in the aspects of communication,design,implementation and feedback of guidance.At the external level of schools,the lack of support provided by educational administrative departments in the implementation of subject-based career development guidance and the stereotype of career development guidance in the society result in the difficulty of forming educational synergy among different subjects to some extent.Based on the current situation of subject-based career development guidance in senior high schools and the causes of problems,this study clarifies the guiding principles that should be grasped in the subject-based career development guidance of ordinary senior high schools:giving full play to the contribution of the discipline to the success of the individual career,highlighting the value of self-construction under the background of uncertainty,and promoting the development of the individual career through the integration of thematic and permeability guidance.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to optimize the practice of subject-based career development guidance from three aspects: breaking through the dilemma of teachers,improving the school-based design of subject-based career development guidance and optimizing the implementation environment of school discipline career development guidance.
