| Since the 21 st century,with the rapid advance of urbanization process,the proportion of the elderly living alone in urban communities of our country is rising,the problem of loneliness arouses widespread social concern.As a socially vulnerable group,the elderly living alone in urban communities are in a state of lack of family emotional care for a long time,and it is difficult to obtain support and care from the family system.In addition,in the absence of social support,it is difficult for elderly people living alone in urban communities to get rid of their negative emotions,and thus more prone to loneliness,which has a great negative impact on physical and mental health.Therefore,from the perspective of social work practice,exploring specific measures to alleviate the loneliness of elderly people living alone in urban communities is of great practical significance for making up for the lack of family emotional support and social support,and realizing their healthy life in their later years.At present,the academic circle mainly studies the problem of alleviating loneliness of elderly people living alone in urban communities from the perspective of psychology or medicine,while there is a lack of relevant research on solving this problem through social work practice.Therefore,this paper takes the elderly living alone in Y community as the research object.Under the guidance of the theory of active aging,the theory of resilience and the theory of social support,it applies the method of case work to carry out the service of relieving loneliness of the elderly living alone in Y community,and solve their problems in psychological and behavioral levels.Moreover,the experience of casework intervention in relieving loneliness of elderly living alone in urban communities is refined,in order to provide experience and inspiration for casework application in relieving loneliness of elderly living alone in urban communities.Using the UCLA-3 Loneliness Scale as a measuring tool,the study investigated the loneliness status of 10 elderly people living alone in Y community.The survey results show that the degree of loneliness of elderly people living alone in Y community is generally higher.In addition,through the in-depth interview of the elderly living alone in Y community,it is found that low self-efficacy,insufficient family emotional support and low social support are the main reasons for the loneliness of the elderly living alone in Y community.On this basis,this paper selects two representative service objects for accurate needs assessment,and carries out case intervention services in terms of self-efficacy,interpersonal skills,family emotional support and social support.At the same time,the process of case work and intervention effects are evaluated.Finally,it is found that: The intervention of case work has a positive effect on relieving loneliness of elderly living alone in urban communities.Finally,this paper reflects on the experience of casework intervention in relieving loneliness of elderly living alone in urban communities,and provides feasible suggestions for the application of casework in relieving loneliness of elderly living alone in urban communities. |
