| With the development of science and technology, there is an increasing demand for innovative talents in society, and education is the main way and means to cultivate talents,so the cultivation of innovative talents will definitely become an important task of education. However,in the current junior high school IT classroom, there are still problems such as weak awareness of cultivation, lack of practicality, and single form and content of evaluation, which are not conducive to the development of students’ innovative ability. This provides new insights into the development of students’ innovative abilities in junior high school IT classrooms.Based on the research and analysis of the current level of junior high school students’ innovation ability and the current situation of cultivating it,this study proposes a strategy for cultivating junior high school students’ innovation ability based on the PBL model in three dimensions: innovation awareness, innovation skills and innovation thinking. To this end, this study successively carried out the following four aspects:(1)Using the literature research method,we outlined the connotation of innovation ability, the connotation of PBL,the components of innovation ability and the basic characteristics of PBL,sorted out the current situation of innovation ability cultivation and the application research of PBL at home and abroad, and explained the relevant theoretical basis.(2)Using questionnaires and interviews to investigate and analyze the current level of innovation ability of junior high school students and the current situation of cultivating innovation ability in junior high school IT classroom, and put forward the problems of cultivating innovation ability in junior high school IT classroom, based on the existing problems, and on the basis of literature research, combined with the principles of cultivating innovation ability and the discipline characteristics of IT curriculum from innovation consciousness, innovation skill and innovation thinking.Based on the literature research, the strategy of cultivating innovation ability of junior high school students based on PBL model is constructed based on three dimensions: innovation awareness, innovation skills and innovation thinking.(3)Applying the PBL-based innovation cultivation strategy for junior high school students to the actual teaching process, students in junior high school class five of Guangzhou City S High School were used as the experimental subjects,Through the four stages of "Plan-Act-Observe-Reflect",we combined classroom observation, students’ self-assessment,group cooperation evaluation and work analysis in each round to find out problems and improve the strategy, and finally built a more perfect strategy framework through three rounds of action research.(4)The effectiveness of the cultivation strategies was examined by using the data from the Williams Creativity Tendency Scale pre and post tests, combined with the changes in learning performance, students’ self-assessment,and work scores in each round.Through the experiment, the following conclusions were obtained from this study:(1)The paired t-test revealed that there was a significant difference between the pre-and post-tests of innovation ability level of students in the experimental class, and the mean score increased by 19.06 points or 21.59%.It shows that after three rounds of action research, the innovation ability development strategy based on PBL model for junior high school students can effectively improve students’ innovation ability level.(2)Finally,the innovation ability cultivation strategy for junior high school students based on PBL model was constructed from three dimensions: innovation consciousness, innovation skills and innovation thinking.Innovative consciousness:(1)create challenging real situations to stimulate innovative interest;(2)encourage the spirit of questioning and inquiry to activate innovative consciousness;(3)ask questions in a guided way to cultivate students’ ability of independent thinking.Innovative skills:(1)focus on combining the oretical knowledge and practice to exercise innovative skills;(2)provide high-quality digital learning resources and teach methods of resource acquisition;(3)clarify students’ division of labor and cultivate cooperation skills;(4)use micro-lessons and encourage students to use multiple operation functions. For innovative thinking:(1)use mind maps to help students construct a knowledge framework;(2)reasonably guide effective multiple interactions to cultivate divergent thinking;(3)provide timely feedback on task progress to promote the process;(4)use scientific multiple assessments to encourage exploration and innovation. |
