College pressure,employment pressure and various aspects of adaptability have a serious impact on the mental health of vocational students.This study adopts the "stress perception Scale","Chinese College Students’ Adjustment Scale","psychological capital questionnaire","perceived Teacher support Scale".A total of 1721 students from five vocational colleges in Guangzhou were studied to investigate the mechanism of stress perception on school adjustment of vocational students,and the different effects of psychological capital and perceived teacher support on the relationship between stress perception and school adjustment of vocational students.This study builds a moderated mediation model,and focuses on analyzing the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between stress perception and school adjustment of vocational students,as well as the moderating role of perceived teacher support.The results show that:(1)The stress perception of higher vocational students was at a lower than average level,and 52.2% of students’ stress perception score was 3 points below the average.The school adaptation level,psychological capital level and perceived teacher support level of vocational students are above the average level.(2)The stress perception of vocational students,school adaptation,psychological capital and perceived teacher support are four variables,and there are significant differences in population variables.The stress perception of vocational students has significant differences in gender,major,whether the only child,whether to study in different places,and parents’ education level.There are significant differences in school adaptation in grades,majors,whether to study in different places,and parents’ education level.Psychological capital has significant differences in gender,grade,major,whether to study in different places,parents education level;There are significant differences in teacher support in terms of gender,major,whether the only child or not,and the educational level of parents.(3)High vocational students’ stress perception is negatively correlated with school adjustment and psychological capital;school adjustment is positively correlated with psychological capital and positively correlated with teacher support;psychological capital is positively correlated with teacher support.(4)Stress perception can directly affect school adjustment,and can also indirectly predict school adjustment through psychological capital.Psychological capital plays a partial mediating role between stress perception and school adjustment.(5)Teacher support plays a partial moderating role in the relationship between psychological capital and school adaptation,and teacher support also plays a moderating role in the relationship between stress perception and psychological capital.Moreover,higher teacher support can improve vocational students’ psychological capital and improve their school adaptation level.
