| As the new curriculum reform continues to advance,teachers of high school ideology and politics classes must break through traditional teaching methods and adopt proven ways to teaching skills.Public engagement literacy is one of the core literacies of the subject in senior secondary ideology and politics,with plays an indispensable role in developing the necessary character and is a key competency for students to meet the needs of social development.Deep learning emphasises the development of higherlevel thinking,which facilitates the generation and transfer of knowledge and can provide effective guidance for the cultivation of students’ public engagement literacy.With the concept of deep learning as a guideline,strengthening the cultivation of public engagement literacy in senior secondary ideology and politics will help students prepare for their future entry into the public sphere of society and for their own diversified development.This essay takes the concept of deep learning as the basis,examines the current situation of teaching and learning in high school ideology and politics classes in the context of deep learning,analyses the problems of cultivating public participation literacy in actual teaching,and proposes teaching optimisation strategies to address the existing problems.The essay consists of an introductory section and four chapters.The introductory section explains the background of the thesis,the significance of the research,the current state of research at home and abroad,and provides a brief review of relevant research at home and abroad,as well as a description of the thesis’ research ideas,a clear explanation of the research methodology,a clarification of the thesis’ innovations and an indication of its shortcomings.Chapter one is an overview,explaining the meaning of deep learning,public participation and public participation literacy and explaining the four theoretical foundations of deep learning implementation.Chapter two elaborates on the objectives of public engagement literacy in senior secondary thought and politics classes in terms of public engagement awareness,public engagement knowledge,public engagement competence and public engagement character,analyses the intrinsic connection between deep learning and public engagement literacy and discusses the significance of deep learning for the cultivation of public engagement literacy in senior secondary thought and politics classes.Based on the questionnaire survey,Chapter three summarises the effectiveness of the cultivation of public participation literacy in senior secondary thought as well as politics classes in the context of deep learning,which also points out the existing problems in four aspects: teaching conditions in schools,teachers’ teaching methods,students’ individual differences and teaching evaluation,and then conducts an in-depth analysis of the causes.Chapter four proposes strategies for optimising the cultivation of public engagement literacy in senior secondary ideology and politics classes in the context of deep learning,including focusing on students’ development and improving the conditions for cultivating public engagement literacy;keeping pace with the times and enhancing the professionalism of ideology and politics teachers;optimising the teaching mode of senior secondary ideology and politics courses based on deep learning;and adopting comprehensive evaluation to promote the transfer and application of public engagement literacy.Through these four teaching optimisation strategies,we promote the implementation of in-depth learning into the cultivation of public participation literacy in senior secondary ideology and politics courses,and improve the effectiveness of the cultivation of public participation literacy. |
