| With the rapid development of network technology,the field of human understanding the world is constantly broadened,the methods are constantly updated,the channels are constantly increased,and the requirements of society for talents are constantly improved,which brings unprecedented challenges and pressure to teaching.China attaches importance to the development of quality education for students,advocates inquiry as the core learning style,focuses on students’ independent initiative,expects to cultivate more top-notch innovative talents,while the traditional teaching model presents a classroom that is only a lecture hall and not a learning hall,the question worthy of consideration by the educators is how to highlight the subjectivity of students in teaching,and the 5E teaching mode focuses on the play of student subjectivity and the cultivation of inquiry ability,which is exactly in line with China’s educational philosophy.The 5E teaching model consists of five parts: Engagement,Exploration,Explanation,Elaboration and Evaluation,regarding how to integrate the 5E teaching model into high school physics teaching,this study carries out the following work:Firstly,explore the conceptual features,theoretical basis and specific aspects of the 5E teaching model.Secondly,mechanics knowledge of grade one in high school as the main research content,combined two forms of questionnaires and interviews to understand the learning difficulties of mechanics,learning habits,teachers’ lectures and the feasibility of implementing the 5E teaching model as the main classroom teaching method.According to the questionnaire and interview results,it can be seen that students have certain difficulties in learning mechanical knowledge such as force analysis,friction,parallelogram rule calculation,etc.,and cannot flexibly apply theoretical knowledge and practical problems related to life,the initiative of learning is not high,and the construction of physical models is not familiar enough.In order to improve this situation,based on the above analysis,the teaching implementation strategy for each link of the "5E teaching mode" is proposed.Finally,three teaching cases of "Free fall motion","Friction" and "Synthesis and decomposition of forces" were designed,class(7)and class(8)of grade one in Luohe No.4Senior High School were used as the study subjects for control teaching,and student performance on three exams(first test,midterm and final exam)was analysed using IBM SPSS Statistics 27 statistical analysis software,and students were interviewed about the effectiveness of the 5E teaching model after its implementation.The practical results show that in the implementation of the 5E teaching mode,the diversification of classroom teaching methods and the increase of opportunities to participate in inquiry activities help to improve students’ interest in learning,students’ observation ability,thinking ability,cooperation with others and other aspects of ability have been improved,and the implementation of 5E teaching mode is also helpful for the improvement of students’ performance.This study is an exploration of the application of 5E teaching model in high school physics teaching and provides some useful references for high school physics teaching. |
