School education needs curriculum construction and teaching content innovation.And the latter carrier is the textbook.There are new textbooks and old textbooks.We have to compare the textbooks.Only in this way can front-line teachers achieve individualized teaching.It is necessary to do so.This is because it can distinguish the degree of difficulty of teaching materials.The author compares the content of geometry in the new textbooks of Renmin Education A edition and Beijing Normal University edition.Mainly from chapter,column setting,content presentation,topic difficulty,teaching material difficulty and other aspects of comparison.In the process of comparison,the methods and tools used by the author include: comparative method,statistical method,qualitative and quantitative analysis method,Professor Bao Jiansheng’s multi-factor model of mathematical comprehensive difficulty,Professor Shi Ningzhong’s textbook difficulty model and abstract degree analysis method.These methods have been used to discuss and study the above problems in many aspects.After a comparative study of the geometric content of the two textbooks,it is found that:(1)This is because there are sections such as "narration","observation","thinking" and "exploration" in the textbooks of the A edition.And they’re very frequent.The textbooks of Beijing Normal University edition have columns such as "Asking Questions","Thinking and communicating","Analyzing and understanding",and "Abstracting and summarizing".They appear slightly less frequently than the human-taught A version.Therefore,there are significant differences in chapter Settings between the two editions.(2)In terms of content presentation,the teaching material A presents learners with a complete closed-loop of thinking to solve problems: raise questions → review old knowledge → transform unknown into known → simplify problems → find examples for intuitive feeling → test conjecture→ draw conclusions → return to real life to reveal theorem.It greatly exercises the students’ thinking quality and exploration and research ability.The textbooks of Beijing Normal University directly provide students with a systematic and complete knowledge system,with clean knowledge presentation and stable and fast classroom efficiency.(3)In terms of exercise difficulty,the teaching materials of the A edition are comprehensive and can effectively carry out optimization training;The textbook of Beijing Normal University has a strong foundation,which is beneficial to improving the overall mathematics level of the class.But in the exercise background this factor level,the two editions of textbooks need to be rich.(4)Due to the limitation of the course time of the two editions,the A edition of teaching materials reduces the difficulty of teaching materials because it increases the comparable depth of the course and reduces the comparable breadth of the course.On the contrary,the textbook version of Beijing Normal University increases the difficulty of courses because it reduces the comparable depth of courses and increases the comparable breadth of courses.The purpose of this study is to provide some theoretical reference for teachers’ teaching.
