With the continuous advancement of China’s urbanization process,the contradiction between urban and rural dual social structure has also penetrated into the field of education,and the physical education in the field of left-behind children has become increasingly prominent.Therefore,based on the practicality of physical education teaching,it is urgent to pay close attention to the left-behind children in their physical health level and their interest in sports learning.Through the comparative analysis of the physical health level of left-behind children and non-left-behind children and their interest in physical education learning,this paper aims to improve the participation of left-behind children in physical education,enhance their physical fitness,provide reference for physical education teachers to improve the teaching quality,and help and promote the reform and practice of physical education in primary and secondary schools.This paper adopts the literature data method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,expert interview method and measurement method through the comparative analysis of the differences between left-behind children and non-left-behind children in physical health level and sports learning interest,presents the differences between the two groups in specific dimensions,and explores the specific improvement strategies.To be specific,first of all,through combing the basis,purpose and significance of the topic selection,the relevant theoretical basis of left-behind children,physical health level and physical education learning interest is sorted out.Secondly,based with questionnaire and field survey,the differences between left-behind children and non-left-behind children in physical health level and physical learning interest.Finally,summarize the problems and put forward corresponding countermeasures,so as to put forward suggestions for improving the physical learning and physical health level of left-behind children in Haimen District.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:In terms of interest in sports learning: although left-behind children have a high level of sports participation,their sustainability and autonomy should be improved;students of different genders should improve their interest in sports learning;and the strategies of different groups need to be more refined.In terms of physical health level: this study points out a clear direction for improving the physical health level of different types of students;the physical quality improvement of male students has become another focus of physical education;and male students of left-behind children are the key group of physical health curriculum in primary schools.The following improvement paths are proposed according to the research conclusion:In terms of interest in sports learning: establish school and community sports associations and clubs to improve the enthusiasm of left-behind children to participate in sports;schools should pay attention to gender differences,increase the opportunities for girls to participate in sports activities and promote sports learning interest;physical education teachers to promote the cultivation of after-school learning habits.In terms of physical health level,pay attention to physical education,and flexibly use delayed service and extracurricular activity time to help left-behind children improve physical health projects;improve sports and health knowledge;improve the awareness of sports and health among parents and improve students’ physical health level;optimize the equipment and facilities for left-behind children;establish and improve the school physical education guided by "integration of sports and education".
