| The period of Junior high school is a very important stage in the growth of teenagers.The physical development of junior high school students is very rapid,while the mental development lags behind it.The physical and mental conditions are in a state of imbalance which contributes to all kinds of contradictions in the process of adolescent development,thus affecting their physical and mental health.Psychological capital is one of the core constructive concepts in the field of organizational behavior and positive psychology.Studies have shown that psychological capital is a dynamic and cultivated positive psychological energy that can help individuals overcome the most stressful challenges at present and in the future.It can significantly predict good behaviors of individuals,and is negatively correlated with bad behaviors.As an internal protective psychological factor,psychological capital has positive impact on growing teenagers.Aiming at promoting the psychological capital of junior high school students by the effective mental health education courses,the teaching research from the perspective of psychological capital on the mental health education courses in the junior high school has been conducted.This study is divided into two parts.In the first part,the mental health and psychological capital of 1000 junior high school students in a middle school of H City were measured by the Chinese Middle School Students Mental Health Scale(MSSMHS)and the Positive Psychological Capital questionnaire(PPQ).SPSS26.0was used for statistical analysis of the data to study the basic situation of the mental health and psychological capital of junior high school students as well as the predictive effect of the psychological capital toward the mental health of junior high school students.In the second part of this study,based on the psychological capital intervention theory(PCI),the teaching plan of the mental health education courses from the perspective of psychological capital has been designed and implemented,and the teaching research on the psychological capital of junior high school students has been carried out.The results are as follows:1.The overall mental health level of junior high school students is relatively high,with no significant difference in grades but significant differences in gender.Girls have lower mental health level and are more likely to suffer from depression,anxiety,learning pressure,emotional imbalance,compulsion,hostility,interpersonal tension and sensitivity.2.The psychological capital level of junior high school students is relatively high,and the difference is not significant in grades,but significant in gender.Boys’ psychological capital level is higher than girls’,and they have higher self-efficacy,resilience and optimism level.3.The psychological capital has positive effect on the mental health level among junior high school students.4.The mental health education courses from the perspective of psychological capital can significantly improve the level of psychological capital and mental health of junior high school students. |
