The research goal of this paper is to apply the situational teaching model to the volleyball teaching in ordinary colleges and universities.Through teaching experiments,we will seek a teaching method that is more suitable for the current volleyball teaching in ordinary colleges and universities and promote the all-round development of students.,contribute to enriching and perfecting physical education teaching methods.The research took two boys’ teaching classes randomly selected from the sophomore volleyball elective class as the experimental objects,and through 8 weeks of teaching experiments,to explore the effects of the experimental class using the situational teaching model and the control class using the traditional teaching model on sports skills,physical quality and Whether there are significant differences in learning interest and other aspects.The research results and conclusions are as follows:1)The teaching implementation principle of the scenario teaching mode of the elective course of college volleyball is based on the scenario as the carrier,the student as the center,the experience as the way,and the collaboration as the means;the teaching scenarios that teachers can use mainly include multimedia scenarios,problem scenarios,music scenarios,Game scenarios,role-play scenarios,role models,and competition scenarios.2)Through the 8-week teaching experiment,it was found that the situational teaching mode was applied in the elective course of volleyball in colleges and universities,and the results of the students’ 50 m,standing long jump,and sitting forward flexion tests were significantly different from those before the experiment(P<0.05).),which shows that the use of situational teaching mode for teaching can effectively improve the physical quality of students.3)The teaching experiment of the situational teaching mode applied in the elective course of volleyball in colleges and universities found that the test results of serving,passing and padding were significantly different from those before the experiment(P<0.01).This shows that the use of situational teaching model can effectively improve the technical level of serving,passing and padding of college volleyball elective course students.At the same time,it is more effective in improving sports technology than the traditional teaching mode.4)Through the 8-week teaching experiment,it was found that compared with the pre-experiment,the students in the experimental class were significantly improved in the dimensions of enthusiasm and interest,autonomy and exploration,sports participation,and sports attention(P<0.05).This shows that the situational teaching mode greatly improves the students’ interest in learning.
