Research On Improving Cognitive Function Of Schizophrenia Survivors Through Group Wor

Mental illness has always been a matter of great concern in the field of medicine and public health.Mental rehabilitation refers to patients with mental illness who are rehabilitated in the community.On the one hand,they have their own needs to adapt to the society.On the other hand,they also face social discrimination and prejudice,which has become a social problem of public concern.The prevalence of cognitive bias in the rehabilitation of schizophrenic patients not only affects the quality of rehabilitation of schizophrenic patients,but also affects the social adaptation and integration of schizophrenic patients.Therefore,it is very important to pay attention to the cognitive function of schizophrenic patients,which has theoretical and practical significance.Based on the theory of self-nature and case analysis,this paper discusses how to combine mandala painting therapy with social work group work methods to improve the cognitive function of schizophrenic patients and realize the innovation in the field of mental rehabilitation social work.The study took the convalescents of schizophrenia in the Mental Rehabilitation Comprehensive Service Center of X District of Guangzhou as the research object,carried out group work intervention,and took this as an example to carry out the research.Before the group was carried out,the author consulted the relevant literature on painting therapy and schizophrenia,drew lessons from the existing service materials,communicated with social workers and schizophrenic patients,and deeply evaluated the needs of schizophrenic patients in improving cognitive function.Under the guidance of needs assessment,a six-section group service was designed and implemented,and its effectiveness was evaluated.The study found that the use of mandala painting therapy to carry out group work can improve the cognitive function of schizophrenic patients,and have a positive impact on their interpersonal interaction and psychological adjustment,and bring positive changes such as the improvement of expression ability,the relief of psychological pressure,the establishment of support network and the improvement of self-evaluation.In addition,the author summarizes and reflects on this research.The Mandala painting group can improve the cognitive function of schizophrenic patients.The following successful experiences are conducive to the development of the group and are worth promoting : first,emphasizing non-judgmental attitudes and an atmosphere of mutual respect within the group;second,fully trust team members to be able to face difficulties;thirdly,combine the mandala painting therapy with the daily life of the group members.The use of mandala painting groups to improve the cognitive function of schizophrenic patients has certain growth and limitations.It should also expand the participants,broaden the support network,mobilize the broad participation of the society,and minimize the differences between the service objects.The impact of drugs and other diseases on research.
