| The People’s Liberation Army is the backbone of the People’s Republic of China and an important guarantee for China to advance and develop in the new era.In recent years,more and more people choose to join the army as the propaganda policy is strengthened.At the same time,the large population base and the policy of compulsory military service also lead to a relatively large number of people joining the army.However,many soldiers choose to retire after serving for two years,and relatively few soldiers stay in the army to continue their military service.Therefore,a large number of retired soldiers need to be properly employed by the government every year.At present,the main solution to the employment problem of ex-soldiers in China is government placement and the government promulgates relevant policies to help ex-soldiers find employment independently.In this process,the government will also hold vocational skills training courses and organize job fairs for ex-soldiers to solve the employment problem of ex-soldiers.However,each region is affected by economic factors,which leads to some differences in the implementation of policies and the effect of implementing policies.Therefore,it is necessary for social work to intervene in the employment of retired soldiers.By reading relevant literature and combining with the author’s internship experience,the author adopted semi-structured interview method to carry out service work for two cases.The author analyzed the basic information of retired soldiers in the city during the internship in Area A of City D,and finally decided to select two representative retired soldiers as the object of this case intervention together with the staff of the local retired soldiers office.The reasons for the employment problem are mainly summarized into two aspects,one is the cause of the service objects themselves.For example,the lack of interpersonal skills and employment skills of the service object.The other reason is the insufficient social support network,such as the client’s family factors,social employment environment and so on.The author emphasizes that clients rely on their own advantages to break employment difficulties and enhance individual employability.The author uses the method of case service intervention to intervene in the employment dilemma of the two service objects.In this process,the author mainly uses the advantage perspective theory and social support theory to explore the advantages of the service objects and use social resources to solve the employment dilemma of the service objects.Through the analysis of the whole case service process,the author draws the conclusion that the comprehensive factors that the service object faces the employment dilemma should be considered comprehensively,and the reasonable and feasible personalized service plan should be made for the service object.As the author is still in the internship stage,there are deficiencies in the whole case service process,but the whole case service process is worth learning from.Therefore,the last part of the paper makes a summary and suggestions on the whole case service,hoping to provide some reference suggestions for the social work and the government to solve the problem of ex-soldiers’ employment in the future. |
