| Education is the foundation of a hundred years plan.Along with our country education teaching reform unceasingly thorough,a large number of normal college graduates have devoted themselves to the primary school education domain,has injected the new vitality and the vigor for our country primary school teaching staff’s construction and the development.However,novice primary school teachers as a special group just into the field of education,in the process of work will inevitably appear some problems,if these problems can not be solved in time and effectively,novice teachers will be difficult to smoothly through the career adaptation period.This will not only have an impact on their physical and mental development,but also is not conducive to the professional development of novice teachers,and will even have an adverse impact on the learning and growth of students.Therefore,it is of great significance for the development of basic education to pay attention to the career adaptation of novice primary school teachers and help them adapt to the role of teachers better and faster.This study is based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and teachers’ professional development stage theory.A questionnaire survey was used to investigate the status quo of career adaptation of novice primary school teachers in Shiyan City from the six dimensions of professional belief,psychological needs,teaching adaptation,interpersonal adaptation,pressure adaptation and school support.In addition,6 novice primary school teachers who graduated from primary education major and had teaching experience within three years(including three years)and 2managers of different schools were selected for interview.The content of the interview mainly involved the career motivation,the problems faced in the early stage of employment,and the help provided for novice teachers.Through the sorting of the questionnaire survey and interview content,it is found that novice teachers have the following problems in the process of career adaptation.First,teachers lack professional skills;Second,maladaptive interpersonal relationships;Third,the school work arrangement is not reasonable,and on the basis of the cause analysis,so as to put forward more targeted countermeasures and suggestions.In order to promote novice teachers to pass through the career adaptation period as soon as possible and stabilize the teaching staff,this study mainly analyzes the novice teachers and the school,and puts forward the following countermeasures.Novice teachers should first strengthen professional belief and correct professional motivation;Secondly,novice teachers should actively improve their professional skills,summarize and reflect in time,and improve their class management ability.Finally,novice teachers should pay attention to improve their interpersonal communication skills and overcome the adverse effects caused by the primary cause effect,recency effect and halo effect.As a vocational school,the first thing to do is to pay attention to teacher education and training.Secondly,it is necessary to improve the mentoring system,advocate an independent and diverse mentoring matching system,strengthen the supervision and management of the mentoring process,and clarify the selection criteria of mentors.Finally,the work scope of novice teachers should be reasonably arranged,the workload should be arranged according to individual differences,and humanistic care should be reflected. |
