Abstract/Summary:
Local chronicles, also known as local chronicles, are chronicles that record the comprehensive situation of a place in ancient and modern times. There are more than 8000 existing ancient local chronicles in China, which are rich in content, valuable cultural heritage, and first-hand materials for history teaching and research. The history teaching in senior high school is guided by the History Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High School(2017Edition),which cultivates students’ five core qualities of history, including historical evidence, historical interpretation, and feelings of family and country. The curriculum standard also proposes that schools should actively develop and make good use of curriculum resources.Correspondingly, the proportion of historical data analysis questions in the unified edition of high school history textbooks and the history test papers of the college entrance examination in recent years has increased year by year, especially the frequent occurrence of some local historical records, which puts forward higher requirements for both teachers and students. It has become a trend to strengthen the application of historical materials in history teaching. The value of historical materials of local chronicles has been increasingly valued. Many teachers and scholars have tried to apply local chronicles to history teaching in senior high schools. In practice, they have verified the principles, methods and effects of applying local chronicles to history teaching, and published relevant research results. These achievements are mostly concentrated on the research of combining the local chronicles of a certain region with the history teaching in middle schools, which provides useful reference for teachers’ teaching.Unfortunately, there is no research involving the combination of Qinghai local chronicles and history teaching. The outstanding local chronicles in Qinghai have a research value that cannot be ignored, especially the Xining Prefecture New Chronicle compiled during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty systematically records the history of Qinghai from the Qin and Han Dynasties to the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. In view of this, take Xining Fu Xin Zhi as an example to study the application of local chronicles in history teaching in senior high school. The research focuses on the following aspects: First,on the basis of intensive reading of Xining Fu Xin Zhi,integrate part of its contents with the unified version of the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(I)in the form of tables, and use it as a newly developed curriculum resource for history teachers.Second, through teacher interviews and student questionnaires,we can understand the application of local chronicles in senior high school history teaching, and propose solutions from the school, teacher and student levels for the existing problems such as students’ lack of learning initiative, shallow understanding of local chronicles, lack of ability to analyze historical data, teachers’ insufficient attention to local chronicles, and subject to objective conditions.Including: the school strengthens the publicity of the other party’s annals and actively carries out relevant activities.Teachers should improve their knowledge reserves, develop local chronicles curriculum resources, explore the diversity of teaching methods, strengthen the supervision and guidance of students, and improve the teaching effect.Students should enhance their learning initiative and cultivate local awareness.Third, select several historical materials from Xining Mansion New Records to design teaching cases, and apply them to classroom introduction, teaching, summary and other links, and carry out further research by combining theory and practice, with a view to providing reference for history teaching in senior high schools.
