In the "Suggestions for proposing questions for the Academic Level Examination",the General High School Curriculum Standards for Ideology and Politics(2017 Edition,Revised 2020)states that it is important to ensure that the questions are scientific,fair and of appropriate difficulty.Similarly,after-school homework,as an effective extension of the classroom and an important part of the teaching process,plays an important role in consolidating the foundation of knowledge,cultivating emotional attitudes,and enhancing subject thinking and problem-solving skills.This requires teachers to change the concept of after-school homework design,and constantly improve their professional quality to ensure that the design of after-school homework meets the requirements of the curriculum standards.However,as a subject with both a moral and an intellectual dimension,the complexity of high school ideology and politics adds to the difficulty of implementing a tiered design for after-school homework,and the relative lack of attention paid by teachers to tiered after-school homework results in the extended role of after-school homework not being effectively played.Therefore,how to design after-school tiered assignments that maximise their functionality is a real challenge that needs to be addressed.Based on this,this study takes high school ideology and politics after-school tiered homework as the research object,and on the basis of summarising the existing research results at home and abroad,initially discusses how to design effective strategies for high-quality high school ideology and politics after-school tiered homework.Firstly,through searching the Internet and borrowing relevant books and newspapers,this study defines the meaning of tiered work and briefly outlines its characteristics,significance and rationale on the basis of combing and analysing existing research results.Secondly,with the help of questionnaires,interviews and observations,the problems of homogenisation of design,simplification of stratification and absolutisation of evaluation in the current situation of stratified design of after-school ideological and political assignments in high schools are clarified,and the crux of the problems is elucidated.Finally,we discuss the strategies for the layered design of after-school homework in high school politics from the perspectives of changing the concept of after-school homework design,enhancing the awareness of after-school homework layering,grasping the principles of after-school homework layering,enhancing the scientificity of after-school homework design,optimising the path of after-school homework layering design,and mobilising students’ enthusiasm to complete it,so as to give full play to the role of after-school homework layering in implementing the fundamental task of establishing moral education,enhancing the core literacy and advanced thinking of the subject,and enhancing students’ self-acceptance.In this paper,we discuss the positive significance of layered after-class assignments in implementing the fundamental task of establishing moral education,improving subject core literacy and advanced thinking,enhancing students’ self-recognition and sense of achievement,and implementing the concept of education according to their abilities.
