| “Only by advocating heroes can there be heroes,and only by competing for heroes can there be many heroes.” Hero culture is an excellent culture gathered by the Chinese nation in the long history of thousands of years,and the fine qualities of heroes show the leading direction of our mainstream values.The Ministry edition of primary school Chinese textbooks is a carrier for students to experience language,cultivate emotion,cultivate morality,comprehend thoughts and temper their will in the stage of compulsory education.The contents contained in Chinese textbooks are full of everything,which can not only improve students’ Chinese literacy in the input of humanities,folk customs,politics,economy,culture and other information,but also cultivate students’ practical ability.On this basis,a series of heroic images selected from primary school Chinese textbooks,their heroic deeds and beautiful characteristics have important educational significance for the formation of students’ personality and quality.Primary school is the basic stage for students to develop their values.The heroic images in textbooks play a leading role in the initiation of students’ patriotic feelings and the establishment of social responsibility.Based on this,this paper takes the 12 volumes of Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry for primary school as the research object and Z Primary School as the research site to analyze and understand the heroic images in the textbooks,in order to explore the educational implications of heroic images.Supported by the theory of symbolic interaction and social learning,this study adopts statistical analysis and qualitative research methods,and takes the hero image in the textbook of primary school Chinese as the research perspective.Firstly,through statistics and analysis of hero images in textbooks,this paper summarizes the presentation ways and characteristics of hero’s external and internal images in textbooks.Secondly,it clarifies the situation,characteristics and standard types of the selection of hero images in textbooks,and explores the reasons for the deficiencies and limitations of the selection of hero images in Chinese textbooks compiled by the ministry.The study found that the hero role types in the primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry are relatively simple,and there are more political and military heroes,and female heroes are far less than male heroes,and there are no contemporary hero images.Influenced by social background,Chinese traditional culture,feudal consciousness and Chinese spirit,the shaping of hero image presents many problems and limitations.Thirdly,it goes deep into Z Primary School and analyzes the examples of “teaching” and “learning” of hero images in textbooks,so as to understand teachers’ teaching of hero images,students’ perception of hero images and students’ promotion of hero culture.Through the classroom records and interviews with teachers and students,it is found that teachers can correctly understand the author’s writing intention and the emotional value of the hero image in the classroom teaching on the hero theme,and can guide students in moral education.Students can correctly distinguish the virtual and real hero images,identify the differences and similarities of hero images,and worship intelligent hero images very much.The school attaches great importance to the hero image,and takes some activities and cultural penetration to extend the hero image in the textbook outside the classroom,continuing the quality and spirit of the hero image.Finally,based on the analysis of textbooks and research data and the perspective of researchers,the author explores the educational value and educational implication of hero images in textbooks.From ancient China,modern China and socialist revolution and construction period of social background,character deeds,character characteristics and other factors,explore the hero image in each period of existence of different values.From classroom tracking and interview texts,to understand and analyze the educational implications of hero images for teachers,students and schools.Based on the educational implication for teachers,the heroic image can stimulate teachers’ educational feelings,and enable teachers to lead the development of students,to be the “heroic mother” of students.Based on the educational implications for students,the hero image can promote students to realize their personal value,pursue self-transcendence,shoulder social missions in learning and growth,and cultivate the feelings of home and country.Based on the educational implication of the school,the hero image can inherit the cultural gene of the school,enhance the cultural confidence of the school,and promote the development of students,teachers and school culture.According to the research,although the hero image in the textbook has its unique characteristics and educational value,it will also have many educational implications for the development of teachers and students and the school,but there are still some problems in the penetration of educational implications.Based on this,the author puts forward suggestions from two aspects: the selection of hero images in textbooks and the teaching of teachers.On the one hand,the selection of hero images should reverse a series of stereotyped consciousness of hero images,increase the proportion of contemporary hero images and the titles of female heroes,enrich the career types of heroes,highlight the social roles of heroes,make the educational value of hero images more prominent in the contemporary era,affirm the value of heroine,and show the“human” nature behind the “divine” nature of heroes.Discover more heroes’ careers while extending the concept of heroes.On the other hand,teachers should also broaden the divergent interpretation of the hero image in teaching,pay attention to the diversified interpretation of the text,strengthen the realistic correlation of the hero image,and attach importance to the value education of the hero image,so as to highlight the existence value and unique role of the hero image in the teaching material in education,and strengthen the infiltration effect of the hero image on the education of students. |
