Reading is an important skill for children’s survival and development,so to grasp and master this skill is very significant for children’s lifelong growth.The present studies show that the period from 3 to 6 years of age is the important stage at which children’s oral speak transforms to literary language,also,it is the crucial period for initiation of early reading.At the stage,children have strong curiosity and desire for exploration and learning for all the world.In addition,children have very strong ability to observe and imitate,they can observe their surroundings and then imitate and study.Home and kindergarten where children act more often have a strong influence on children.Therefore,for both home and kindergarten it is necessary to grasp this characteristic of children’s body and mind development and make a joint effort to lead them correctly and effectively for cultivating children’s reading interest from their childhood.Children’s reading interest cultivation is a systems engineering made up through the mutual communication and coordination between home and kindergarten on the basis of home-kindergarten joint education.From the perspective of home-kindergarten joint education this paper analyzed the multi-element compound path which make children obtain high reading interest and the compound elements which result in children’s poor reading interest through the fuzzy set theory of Qualitative Comparative Analysis(QCA)and in accordance with the five dimensions of date collected by interview method and questionnaire method such as Parent’s reading attitude(PA),Home reading environment(HE),Kindergarten reading teacher guidance(KG),Kindergarten reading space construction(KS)and Home linkage(HL).The result of Qualitative Comparative Analysis(QCA)shows the condition of sound parent’s reading attitude,well kindergarten teacher guidance and close home linkage,and reinforced by good home reading environment or perfect kindergarten reading space construction,children will be helped to obtain high reading interest.In contrast,unsatisfactory parent’s reading attitude,defective reading environment in home,improper kindergarten teacher guidance and no completely equipped reading space in kindergarten are the reasons that make the weak children reading interest.As for research results,this paper put forward suggestions from the three levels of home,kindergarten and the linkage between home and kindergarten.Firstly,on the home level:parents should establish a correct outlook on early reading,fully understand early reading in the contents of essence,purpose and the importance for children’s growth,establish the good home environment and atmosphere,perform parent-child reading scientifically,often take part in parent-child activities concerning children’s reading,and choose the suitable children reading material.Secondly,on the kindergarten level,the teaching outlook on early reading should be established,the suitable reading material should be chosen according children’s characteristics,and the proper teaching methods should be chosen.Thirdly,on the home linkage level: the correct outlook on home-kindergarten joint education should be established,the channel for the communication between home and kindergarten should be widened,and the type of interaction between home and kindergarten should be enriched.
