With the continuous development of educational research,the important value of parents in participating in kindergarten education has become increasingly prominent."Home-based co education" has become an important medium for parents and teachers to connect,support each other,and jointly promote the growth of young children.However,in the current situation,parents still face many problems in the process of participating in kindergarten education,which affects the development of the quality of home co education.After analyzing the relevant research on parents’ participation in kindergarten education,the author found that the current research results mainly analyze from the perspectives of kindergartens and teachers,and there are few studies based on the perspective of parents.Therefore,from the perspective of the parent group,this study discovers the current situation of parents’ participation in kindergarten education,analyzes the problems and root causes faced by parents in participating in kindergarten education,and proposes targeted solutions,in order to provide reference for the study of home co education.In terms of research methods,this study mainly adopts a unique qualitative research approach.During the research process,19 parents of young children were interviewed one-on-one,and interview data from 15 parents were screened for analysis,ultimately reaching the research conclusion.The research framework of this paper is as follows:In the introduction section,this study elaborates on the historical background of parents’ participation in kindergarten education from the perspectives of research background,research perspective,and research methods.Based on the current research status at home and abroad,the research standpoint of this study is introduced.The research framework of this paper is as follows:In the introduction section,this study elaborates on the historical background of parents’ participation in kindergarten education from the perspectives of research background,research perspective,and research methods.It raises the issue of low quality of parents’ participation in kindergarten education process.At the same time,it introduces the current research status at home and abroad on this issue,laying the groundwork for the subsequent introduction of research perspectives.The first chapter starts with describing the current problems of parents’ participation in kindergarten education,and explains the specific situation of parents’ participation.At the same time,conduct a qualitative analysis of the interview content with parents,and summarize the specific problems faced by parents’ participation in kindergarten education through interview examples,namely the marginalization of parents’ participation in kindergarten education,ineffective communication between parents and teachers,lost value of parents’ participation in kindergarten education,and conflicting educational concepts between parents and teachers.Chapter two explores the root cause of the problem,mainly due to factors such as insufficient institutional guarantees and educational guidance for parents’ participation in kindergarten education,formalized educational communication,the pulling of educational rights,and a lack of scientific children’s concepts among parents and teachers.Chapter 3 considers the root causes of the problem and proposes empowering and empowering parents,returning the initiative to participate in education to parents;Give full play to the promoting role of kindergarten management and establish a dialogue mechanism for parents to participate in kindergarten education;Strengthen the construction of home culture in kindergartens,and achieve value guidance for parents and teachers;The main solution strategies such as constructing a concept of home co education centered on children’s life needs are aimed at effectively improving the quality of parents’ participation in kindergarten education.The conclusion of the study mainly summarizes the work and current research from the perspective of children’s natural development and educational needs,and proposes future research directions for addressing shortcomings.
