Practical Exploration Of The Improvement Of The Smartphone Use Ability Of The Elderly

In recent years,with the continuous development of digital technology,a variety of new smart devices have been developed and put into the society.In the constant update and transformation of various brands of smart phones,the elderly are restricted by internal and external factors,unable to quickly and accurately master the use of technology,and are forced to become a vulnerable group in the digital society.It can not only promote the construction and sharing of digital society by all people,but also improve the self-efficacy of the elderly and better participate in society.This paper combines questionnaires,interviews and observations to investigate and analyze the elderly group in F Street,and learns about the low frequency of elderly use of smartphones in the community,and finds that there are difficulties in technology,social support and subjective awareness in the use of smartphones.On the basis of analyzing and sorting out the dilemma and causes,according to the theory of social support and the theory of empowerment,the group work service of improving the ability to use smart phones for the elderly is carried out in seven sessions,and according to the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly,relying on different theories and professional skills at different stages of the group,social workers and volunteers guide the elderly to learn and master the learning content of smart phones in media activities,review and evaluate the effect of each activity,and ensure the learning interest,participation initiative and learning effect of the elderly.Through the intervention of the seven-session group work,the elderly have mastered the necessary operational skills for the use of mobile phones to a certain extent,and put them into practice in real life,improve the interest of the elderly in the use of smart devices,help the elderly to provide convenience for their daily life,create a friendly environment for themselves,promote the elderly group to use smart phones for community participation and interaction,build the elderly’s own social support network,and promote the elderly group to build a shared digital society.The work of this group generally improved the ability of group members to use smart phones,but the activity did not pay enough attention to the individualization of the elderly in the overall setting,resulting in a certain gap in the operation level of group members on smart phones.
