Harsh parenting is a collection of a series of rough behaviors, harsh emotions and harsh attitudes of parents towards children, and its manifestations are diverse, mainly including physical aggression, verbal aggression, psychological aggression and compulsive/controlling behavior.Aggressive behavior refers to a kind of behavior that an individual directly or indirectly intentionally harms, provokes and causes others to suffer varying degrees of harm.Among them, the aggressive behavior of individuals in the adolescent stage will reach its peak, and the juvenile delinquent group belongs to the group with the highest aggressive behavior in the adolescent stage. The relationship between parenting style and children’s aggressive behavior has been confirmed by a large number of previous studies, but they often examine the relationship between multiple parenting styles and children’s aggressive behavior at the same time, only some of which involve harsh parenting. In order to systematically examine the relationship between parental harsh parenting and children’s aggressive behavior,it is necessary to study it as a unique parenting style. In order to further clarify the relationship between harsh parenting and aggressive behavior, this study designed a two-part study.Firstly, the first part is the research on the relationship between harsh parenting and aggressive behavior, including two studies.Study1 A explores the relationship between harsh parenting and aggressive behavior by using meta-analysis technology;Study 1B is the intervention research on hostile attribution bias and aggressive behavior under the influence of harsh parenting and peer aggression. There is one study. The second study is based on the intervention concept of multi-system therapy and alternative training of aggression, which integrates family, peer and individual hostile attribution bias.In order to achieve the intervention effect of improving the hostile attribution bias of male juvenile offenders and reducing their aggressive behavior.Based on Chinese students, the study 1A explored the relationship between harsh parenting and aggressive behavior by using meta–analysis technology, and examined the relationship and moderating effect between them.through literature search and screening,a total of 92 articles were included, including 474 research samples, with a total sample size of 208665.The random effects model was used to verify the results. The research results showed that there was a moderate positive correlation between harsh parenting and individual aggressive behavior. And different forms of rough parenting are positively correlated with different forms of aggressive behavior in different degrees. In addition,The moderating effect analysis showed that the proportion of male, the average age,the number of control variables, the way of reporting and the type of rearing objects had a significant moderating effect on the relationship between Harsh rearing and aggression. The study 1B explored the role of peer victimization and hostile attribution bias as mediators in the relationship between harsh parenting and aggressive behavior. The subjects of this study were 603 male juvenile delinquents.Using Mplus 7.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and chain mediation effect analysis. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fitting indexes of the model were acceptable. The results of mediating effect analysis showed that harsh parenting could not only directly predict aggressive behavior, but also predict aggressive behavior through three mediating paths, that is,harsh parenting could predict aggressive behavior through the sole mediator of peer aggression, the sole mediator of hostile attribution bias, and the chain mediator of both.According to the path model of the relationship between harsh parenting and aggressive behavior, the study 2 developed a group counseling intervention program based on the concept of multi-system therapy and aggressive alternative training, which integrated family, peer and individual aspects to intervene in the aggressive behavior of male juvenile offenders. In this study,80 male juvenile offenders were selected as intervention subjects by cluster sampling in the second study, and randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group with 40 people in each group. The study used a Mixed experimental design of 2(group: experimental group/control group)×3(measuremen-t time:pre-test,post-test,follow-up test). The independent variable was hostile attribution bias, and the dependent variables were physical aggression, verbal aggression and total aggression.A total of eight intervention group supplementary courses were designed for the intervention plan of the experimental group. The intervention results showed that the group counseling intervention program designed for hostile attribution bias based on the concept of multi-system therapy+aggressive alternative training had a certain immediate and short-term effect on improving hostile attribution bias and reducing physical aggression, verbal behavior and total aggression.Through the above three studies, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Parents’ harsh parenting is a family risk factor for individual aggressive behavior, and the relationship between them is moderated by reporting style, parenting object type and other factors, among which self-evaluation style and parental co-participation in parenting have the greatest moderating effect on individual aggressive behavior.(2)Harsh parenting not only directly leads to the occurrence of aggressive behavior of male juvenile offenders, but also predicts aggressive behavior through the mediation of hostile attribution bias and peer victimization respectively, and also affects aggressive behavior through the chain mediation of peer victimization and hostile attribution bias.Specifically, male juvenile offenders are prone to form hostile attribution bias after suffering from the double bad experiences of parents’ harsh parenting and peer abuse, and then promote the emergence of aggressive behavior.(3)The intervention program based on multi-system therapy and aggressive substitutio-n training has a significant immediate and short-term effect on improving the hostile attribution bias of male juvenile offenders and reducing their physical, verbal aggression and total aggression.
